His reasoning is because he believed Em had functionally had him banned from a popular hip-hip radio station. Em then responded in a song on Kamekaze album. MGK reacted with a video celebrating the mention with champagne then released his diss track "Rap Devil". Em responded with Killshot and now MGK doesn't even produce rap anymore he went into rock almost exclusively so...

Eminem didn't even know about the tweet until around 2-3 years later, when MGK talked about how Eminem banned MGK off of Shade45. Eminem didn't respond to this, but then MGK just had to provoke Em in Tech N9ne's album. Em responded in Not Alike (Kamikaze), where his entire second verse is dissing MGK. After that MGK released Rap Devil, obviously a parody to Rap God. Em had enough and released Killshot in 2019, which was so bad for MGK, that he literally had to switch genres. Actually Eminem didn't response on kamikaze wasn't regarding the tweet. He said it in an interview for his "kamikaze" album that he didn't see the tweet until years later. He was responding to the press run that MGK was doing where he talked about Hailie and also responding to MGK's throwing shots at him on Tech N9ne's song, which he featured in. He responded to that on his Kamikaze album, on the song "Not Alike". MGK then made a response diss track to Eminem called "Rap Devil" and then Em responded back with "Killshot"

Went back and rewatched this video. I'll be honest but be polite about it. You should either remove this video or reshoot it with someone else as the interviewer. Literally almost every "question/round" was misinformation. Em did have beef with Paris. You mixed up timelines on so much. Also you got the reason for beefs or who started it wrong many times. At least 75% of Eminem's beefs are RESPONSES not instigations. Someone either sneak disses him or worse mentions Hailey and then he goes off the rails on them. Eminem doesn't make it a point to "poking the bear", HE IS THE BEAR. The times when he is dissing someone/something first is usually when he is talking about the state of the world (most recently in Houdini talking about how soft today's society is) or making his political stance known.
