Oh gosh! I’m loving watching this vlog series. It’s making me want to do the Alaskan cruise so bad! But it seems like people are not going in the pool as much (or maybe pool time wasn’t on your agenda haha?). Is it because of the weather? I also want to cruise to relax in the pools/jacuzzi, but if it’s a little chilly out, then I understand why they’re not getting used a lot.

Thanks for watching and so glad that you enjoyed the series! The pools were definitely used less on this cruise than the other Caribbean cruises we have been on. But there definitely were still times that guests were in them. The weather was cooler, so that may have been a factor. For us, there was a lot of activities that we wanted to do on the ship and we also enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the lounges over pool time, but that was just our preference. Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing the video! We’re going to our Disney Alaska cruise next week. Your video helps us a lot for preparing the trip. We didn’t get to book the excursion on day 3 either. Do you know around what time people can start to go meet the characters ? Thinking to book spa on that day but also don’t want to miss the cute characters and incredible views of glacier . We just changed our dinner seating to main, will we miss the frozen show ? Thank you!

I believe the first characters in the lobby were at at 9am (the time will show up in your Disney app but not who is meeting) and then Minnie I believe was at noon on top deck and Mickey was at 12:30 on the top deck. If you ask the cast members that day what time and where they are, they will be able to help if there are specific characters you want. You also will be good with the Frozen show. Each show happens twice, once for the early dinner people and once for the late dining. Let us know if we can help with any other questions and hope you are a great time!

@@AdultsInDisney Thank you very much for the reply. I really appreciate it! We booked the shutters portrait studio on the 1st day at 7pm. Not sure if we will be able to finish our dinner by then . We also booked our girls for bibbidi Bobbidi at 8pm , which is kind of late , but that is the only time available we could book , still not sure if we should cancel it. Is there a show or something special on the 1st night ? Thank you ! :)

@@fn7md the first night should just have the sail away show as you pull away from port before dinner. If you have animators palate the first night, wouldn’t miss the end of the meal (surprise with it and happy to share it if want to know - have it in our next vlog). There is often more availability for activities such as Bibbidi, if you ask a cast member as soon as you get on whether to go to guest services or message in chat they will be able to help, especially if you already have a reservation they may be able to change the time if you want. Hope this all helps and have the best time!
