Tim was just trying to make Mark better at his job since he was constantly underperforming at every turn, and it is incredibly unfair to bring Ayaka as a witness given her and Tim’s background together. All around this is a testament to the terrible judicial system we have if a clearly innocent man like Tim Heidecker can be convicted while that lying scoundrel can sit less than twenty feet away as a free man.
