Animation: great. Humor: like uncle ruckus from boondocks was force at gunpoint to write something positive about the black community
@butchdeadlift104 жыл бұрын
I feel more comfortable watching Ralph Bakshi movies trying to be black positive. At least the 1970s sensation is authentic.
@elementxxxi92874 жыл бұрын
I mean, the show was created and developed by black people. It’s satirizing blaxploitation, not the black community
@butchdeadlift104 жыл бұрын
@@elementxxxi9287 Sure. But I get the feeling (long story short about the 1970s, film, culture, disco, and blacksploitation movies of the era), THEY PROBABLY should have done Black Dynamite Junior or Black Dynamite the Next Generation and set the damn thing in the 90s. It is like they are saturizing the Marlen Waynes, Chris Tucker, and bad side of Eddie Murphy's career end of exploitation you would see in the 90s and 00s and adding disco music and martial arts RATHER than the lost treasure of goofy soul searching cynisism that was the 1970s african american experience. Or I am pulling excuses out of my ass because 1) I am a desperate nerd trying to sound smart, 2) I have a spinal injury today and complaining on the internet relieves the strain of the pain, and 3) I am bitter of their parody of Mr Rogers being so completely backwards as to be an insult rather than satire. ((petty digression: Like the way they parodied Mr Rogers was like trying to a parody of Walt Disney where in every scene Walt was sucking a Rabi's cock and paying all his employees too much money. Do you see how off that would be in a portrayel of Walt Disney? Insulting non existant flaws in a very flawed man. "You know what is wrong with with Barrack Obama? How he loves the NRA and wears a confederate flag jumpsuit everywhere. That right wing nutjob should just marry ted nuget and be done with it")) But if they came out and said "we are not saturizing the 1970s, we are saturizing parodies of the 1970s because we just hate Undercover Brother that much", Then it would make sense. (maybe I deserve this spinal injury for being such a shithead today. Who knows)
