Beautiful petals on the 3D flower, and the pearls and rhinestones made it over-the-top. What I think of as real Japanese style.

Has your views changed of this “over the top” nail art? Cuz I see this everywhere now. And it’s seen as elegant.

#LilyToy it's not paint. But it is acrylic powder. It's called 3D sculpture acrylic. You need monomer and a 3D nailart brush to create it. Acrylic powder comes in many colors and consistencies. The 3D powder is the consistency of clay. But it dries quickly, so work fast!!
@massusama70412 жыл бұрын
i agree with @FurHever. i've had 3D nail art done before, and the shapes formed from the acryl powder last quite a while - none of them chipped or dented at all for over 1 week!

That is some heavy duty topcoat that could not only seal those designs in, but to also be able to hold the diamonds, etc on the nail. Wow

oh ma god that is crazy! this lady is a pro!
@Erulastielworrior14 жыл бұрын
even though it says that these are for experts, there not as hard as they make out. ive been doing my own acrylic nails for about 4 months at home without any lessons or nail tech course (i did a little bit of sculpting in art but thats hardly the same) and i managed to do these almost exactly the same as they are in the vid. never think you dont have enough experience to do something like this, if you dont get to grips with it streight off, practise on some paper untill you get the hang of it!!
@leslieurbano29912 жыл бұрын
Why are these videos entertaining for me? :U
@ZINQ9113 жыл бұрын
@Cizzmc123 it's the acrylic liquid. You mix the liquid and the powder to make the ball you put on your nail to form the shapes. @snowkitty33 it's the acrylic powder mixed with acrylic liquid. I'm pretty sure this can also be done with nail gel
@darklunatix15 жыл бұрын
its acrylic, its what salons use to make nail extentions :) you dip the brush in the liquid then into the powder for form a ball of acrylic.

its liquid monomer, a acrylic liquid, it is used with the powder to create a polymer chain making it into a solid :)

I have absolutely no idea what your saying but you sound beautiful💗💗
@Pri0613 жыл бұрын
@soundxcrash it's acrylic. you should be able to get it at sally's beauty supply or any other beauty supply store that carries nail supplies. i would ask the people working about how to work with the acrylic. how does it set and all of that. most of the time i've seen a uv sealant used over it which is then cured with a uv light but i think that's only to give it added shine and seal everything in.

yeah I agree, Japanese people must be very patient, I do not have that patience to do those designs, I would go mad!
@MusicalKisu11 жыл бұрын
For those that keep saying how to do this and that with out the design falling out. The thing is the design does NOT fall off. They used "Gel Top Coat" ever heard of Gel? if not then Google it up. Gel is not that easy to take off unless you have a nail drill to drill those design off or if you have time and sit around dip both hand in acetone and wait till it soften and scrape it off. Faster result put bowl of acetone in hot water to activate the chemical faster.

Ailsa Sun I just got a very similar gel nail art in Tokyo and they are still beautifully there after over a month! It’s time to take them off and I just can’t let go of them!!! They are really strong nails, retail store associate and busy mother of four approved! Just give it a try!

@AkaneDee i think she's just demonstrating on the proper way to do it. my japanese is limited. But she's saying something like it's not right if the pick up is too big or too powdery. probably. that's around 3:38
