Advance PROGRESS 3 (Reversible Paragliding Harness) Walkthrough

Bruno from Advance Paragliders takes us through the new features of the Progress 3 reversible paragliding harness.

I have this harness, it’s incredibly comfortable and well built but I wish I’d gone for a different model with a seat board.

Ich habe mich für PROGRESS 3 entschieden und bin sehr beeindruckt von der Verarbeitung und Bequemlichkeit. Es macht beim Fliegen richtig Spas und man kann auch mehrere Stunden damit durchhalten. Es gibt kein Sitzbrett, was beim Start oder Landung an den Beinen für störend empfunden werden kann. Es Bedarf allerdings eine aktive Beinführung bei der Gewichtsverlagerung. Aber das kommt dann mit der Zeit von ganz selbst. Topp und volle 5 Sterne dafür.

Wir haben jetzt auch zwei mal das Gurtzeug 😃 ich habe jetzt allerdings noch nicht verstanden, wofür der Comfortpack ist? Das ist doch gerade ein Wendegurtzeug und beinhaltet schon selbst einen Rucksack samt Schutz?

Will BiBeta 6 38 fit inside? Also I saw some comparison chart of Advance harnesses which gave it relative low score for XC compared to Success. Can you please explain why this is? Is the hammock style less comfortable for longer flights or is it for some other reason? Thanks - I love all of your videos!!

How does the Zipper open when I throw my Emergencyparachute?

It is like when you have a zipper that it a bit open in the middle and after closing it. The moment the reserve is released, the zíper will just open.

Is the Advance PROGRESS 3 suitable for tandem flying for the passenger like as EASINESS 2 ?

I don't see why not. I'd be happy to use the PROGRESS 3 as a tandem passenger harness. Although I've not had opportunity to do so with the PROGRESS 3 as yet, I've used the EASINESS, EASINESS 2 and PROGRESS 2 (amongst others) as tandem passenger harnesses and they all worked fine.

Please pay attention to basic sound and lighting, guys. Hard to hear - stick that mic in his face / and get a boom mic; and hard to see with bright windows in background - always position lights behind the camera person. - thx, great info.

Get Up at a normal harness :-( I think, this reversible over all has no chance against a swing or a woody valley one. Why not something realy new, like a inflatable airbag from the bottom to the neck, full top protection, That would be innovative and would provide unrivaled safety for the main group of pilots!
