Amazing game,, that Neotank dying after firing a single shot the way it did probably would've sent me into tilt deathspiral if I were Hogat. Loving the way you came up with a potential defense of the HQ with the stealths, fighter and cruiser, very creative and thoughtful. I loved the series of videos, leading up to the game itself, very educational. 🥳

Glad you enjoyed it :D It would have been real big brain if cruisers could go over shoals x.x The real play to defend the HQ would probably have been the Battleship hiding in the reef... but it can't leave the water unlike the stealth so much harder to convert into a win afterwards if both attacks are thwarted.

or you could just risk blocking your HQ with the stealh, and you would won more time since there was no fighters

@@Go7Penguin i would prefer to have the day somewhere - helps teach viewers about pacing of matches because we can keep track of when units are/should be built etc. Great video btw. Transport game is incredibly smooth and explaining about the infantry movement onto the first mountain is actually faster was something i had not really considered in my map making (new to awbw and spend most of my time making maps). Both of these will become bigger factors in my map making to add that depth for better players to exploit.

I may or may not have also used a stealth for that exact same reason in the past, blackboat on the shoal was necessary to ensure nothing can wall it.

Lol 1 minute in and I'm already learning, I was having difficulty finding the strong side on Stalingrad on the games I casted there, I'm not even fond of the map so it's hard for me to analyse

Stalingrad is one of those tricky ones where you can be flexible with your strong side. Pretty much where the majority of vehicles are invested is the strong side

When would you say it's good to open with a T-Copter? Any map that has an "island" base?

Any map that has a close airport to your bases and has enough space that you'll be able to defend with delayed vehicles
