Great video. I have been watching many videos on cue ball control but this hits the mark for me. Thanks for these videos. All your instructional videos work for me. Thanks

Valerie’s a pro! Perfect control in the drills.

Not doubting her game, she's obviously good... but lets not pretend there wasn't a camera cut before every single shot. It could have taken her 300 takes to finish those drills, for all we know. I doubt she needed many retakes, but I also doubt she was perfect on every first take.

Hey venom.. i wonder whats your skill level playing regular pool. I am assuming doing all those great trick shots would make you master cue ball control and that would translate to regular pool.
@calebbrady53214 жыл бұрын
I’ve always wondered why I couldn’t achieve as much draw on the cue ball as I’d like, and now I see the speed has a lot to do with it. Hitting it hard with the same amount of draw doesn’t always mean I’ll get the amount of draw I want, but hitting it soft with the same amount of draw can sometimes bring the cue ball back more. Is this correct?
@VenomTrickshotsOfficial4 жыл бұрын
Yes speed much more important that actual force :) Its really more in the 'lightness' of the gesture I believe for draws
@SlickRick4EVER4 жыл бұрын
It's the speed of the stroke that gives the action to the cueball.

Hey Venom. When you say sidespin doesn’t have an effect on the trajectory of the cue ball until it its a rail, what about masse shots? Is it not spin that causes the swerve?

Hello, I'm asking my question here because it's your newest video , but my question is from a 2018 video. It's about tips & I will add the link. 1) It's 2 years later, do u still use the SS Kamui? 2) I wanted to be sure to understand what you meant on Long shots, with a more detailed answer. It seems like you're saying you're going to get spin when you don't want to, which is where I'm confused. Are you saying if you hit center or try to do a stop shot, you're going to draw? So what EXACTLY did you mean by that? 3) I've watched your videos, so I'm fairly sure that YOU can draw, oh about 50 yards or so, but because it's a SS or even a soft tip, can you get a full table draw hitting softer? If you decide to blast it, does a soft tip give (well not you) someone problems with this, as in speed or hard hits, losing control? I got hurt, so I haven't played in many years. Now I see all these tips I never heard of and I'm not sure when layered tips came out, I always used a medium LePro & I really didn't have a problem with Long draws or draw with a ton of side spin to really change the angle off the rail, do these new tips blow the LePro tips away as far as what one can do or is it just that keep their form longer and that's pretty much it? I've also never used a soft tip in my life & I was one of those players that juiced the daylights with most shots, but always told to NEVER use soft tips 1) They are for snooker. 2) Would mushroom constantly, which I have a Willard tipping machine, so I didn't care if I changed a tip every month. I played about 50+ hours a week & I'm thinking I never should have listened to the people that said don't EVER use a soft tip? Again, maybe it's because there was no layered tips, so it WAS true 15+ years ago, but not now? I realize that's a lot of questions, but u really seem to want to help people learn or I wouldn't be asking............ I also have one more question, but it's a playing question. In the 90's ( for example) I broke and ran, boggled the 8, the guy played safe and put me behind 4 of his balls. It was a straight in kick if there were no balls & I jumped off the rail, cleared his balls and made the 8. How come I never see people do that? Too hard to control or lower percentage? I'd rather do that than kick 3 rails and I was great at kicking. I use to win drinks by standing at the head string, shooting the rail & jumping the ball within 5 inches into their hands. I swear I've seen you do that AND ONE MORE, that I'm sure you've never been asked. Do you not shoot in the tournaments with Strickland, Efren... or have I just missed them?? I mean ya, you do trick shots, but there's no way in hell I'd ever believe you couldn't run multiple racks of 9 ball or do insane crazy caroms off 30 rails & drop the 9. I sure I hope you answer kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpfGo5ZrjcZggaM

@Venom There's a game in billiards where cards are involved, we call it poker. Players are given seven cards. #14 and #15 are considered Jokers. All players can pocket jokers to get a better shot on their next ball. Game will end if they pocket all their cards #. A's is equal to ball #1, Jack is #11, Queen is #12 and King is #13. Poker can be played by 5 players... The more identical cards you have, the less balls you need to pocket... You don't need to tell other players that you have similar balls, so they don't have any idea how much you have. And it will not prevent them to pocket your last ball. You win if they missed and still have something to shoot... You can win poker without having to visit the table...
