Great review. I'll go ahead and say it again- my father always told me "with the right tool you can do anything!" Books my friend's are some of the best tools we can own, and they are cordless!!!!🙃🙃🙃 Keep breathing

My favorite part is that they are cordless. So many people rely on their phones nowadays that if the internet was to go down all knowledge would be forgotten. I try to keep as many books as I can available just in case.

@@newageselfreliance I agree. I am a voracious reader and books are going to be an invaluable resource in the future.

I received the full series of Dave Canterbury's books at Christmas time. I don't read this one yet but slowly I will. Just for wide my theoretical knowledge because the last one was very practical (: and so many part of this book is illegal in my country). With these books we received back something what we lost in the last 50-70 years. Survival books or the books of harmony with the nature? Best regards, Adam from Hungary (sorry because of my english :)

The skills may be illegal but the knowledge can help keep nature alive and well. Just remembering what our great grandparents did to survive before the moderns comforts of today makes these books worth reading. Thank You so much for your support.

Sounds like a good read. It's nice having some books around to reference from.

There's 256 pages in this book with the index and appendices. There's no glossary in this book. There's 12 chapters in this book. There are recipes in this book. I paid $16.28 for this book. Is it worth the money I paid for it? Yes, it is. I may not be building a log cabin tomorrow, but at least I have the information needed to do that, if I ever have the money for something like that. Advanced bushcraft by Dave Canterbury is a good book to have in any prepper's or survivalist's library.

Are you going to also review the trapping gathering, and cooking book from the series? Isn't there a first aid one as well?
@newageselfreliance3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I will be doing both of those books in the next two weeks.

Does it have any thing on making a bow 🏹? I watched a few KZbin videos on the subject. I’d like to try and make a long bow someday.
@newageselfreliance3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it does talk about making both Bows and Arrows.
