3:15 Advanced parry tip for anyone who does not know. If you hold focus attack and let go, then hit the opposite mouse button you will parry with no delay and without the need to crouch. You will instantly go from blue focus to parry. It is very time sensitive and must be done BEFORE the first ding/charge. It will take practice to get the timing right, but the gist of it would be hold M1, let go, and instantly hit m2. (You don't need to hit m1 and m2 at the same time, unlike a normal parry.) You will instantly go from blue focus to red parry without the delay from a crouch. It's very useful against faster weapons like the dagger. Edit: Due to some positive feedback I wanted to mention that it also works alternatively. (You can do the vertical or horizontal focus attack and press the opposite button to get the instant parry.) Also, remember that just because it's a faster parry does not mean that it's better, it's just another trick to have in your arsenal. A lot of high elo players will delay their focus attack to bait out an instant parry then release and if you don't instant parry they will cancel because they don't want to take the 50/50. Edit: Additional information on 9/16/2021, something I thought I should add: If you hold M1 (or M2) and you charge past the first "ding", you can still blue to red parry by pressing C (crouch) or space (jump), and tapping the opposite key of what you were initially holding. Example: M1 (hold) (past first ding) space OR crouch, then while still holding M1 quickly tap M2.

This is the reason why Naraka: Bladepoint is better than other BRs. In Naraka, you really have to be mindful of your attack and your opponent's attacks, and at the same time, look for a counter opportunity. Nice combat guide!

another tip i want to add is, if you have a MMO mouse (we da best!!!!) and get caught with a range/melee weapon loadout, you can quickly swap your range for a melee by holding the slot number and quickly scrolling your mouse wheel. this has helped me a lot, in case i get parried and the opponent decides to rush me thinking they have the advantage.

Another tip for guns, if you're escaping and you have your cursor aimed behind you, you do a quick turn and shoot. Especially with a bow or musket.

Actually for focus bait you can hold right click, let go before first charge and press left click. It’s faster than crouch, hop cancel

I enjoy the tips because even as a solar I didn't realize you could climb attack lmfao I've always just dud everything else and was better now I can definitely make it out of solar using this for sure, but why didn't you mention crouch spamming while healing, you did it in the video but didn't mention it, I think it's a pretty important tip for dodging grapples and headshots

They are great tips, except u tend to get 3rd partied alot by non NA players in the NA server that are full on sweat mode lol then ya got those players that crouch continously when refilling armour and health for some reason when the Canon completly ignores that or u can aim at there legs with a bow or rifle to also hit em.

Depending on the weapon it can be a bit tricky, the dagger is the most consistent one to do it tho

@@MrAwsome10101 i play with melee aim assist off and its not impossible, just way harder. i do recommend playing with melee aim assist off if you can manage, it makes trios SOOOOO much easier and makes longsword and katana focus attacks easier to aim as it doesnt aim towards the enemy (Edit: I just realized you said “near impossible”… my bad lol)

@@dominickpissegga2128 That's the reason why I originally turned it off as it made certain focus attacks easier to aim, but I found I could almost never get a second aerial attack combo in after an uppercut unless I was up against a wall.

It depends on the souljades and weapons meta or you use best. But to give you a heads up, the difference between rarities are 25-30% extra damage. I will try to cover this more in depth in a loot video

the game is scissors/stone/paper mouseclick(light attacks) / focus attack / parry every move got an casttime/animation if you play this game with a friend and your friend choosen scissor, you paper, you cannot change to stone after he seen the scissor you need to play wisely and watch what your enemy put mostly on the table and read them:D Try to learn mousebutton parrys -> charge focus before first blink, hit the secound mousebutton -> finger up from first button -> practise. if you charged longer -> crouch or jmp and hit secound mousebutton, hold the other:) The hotkey(the parry what you can put on hotkey) to parry is mostly the same but learning with the mousebuttons, keeps you track if you starting a new casttime/animation I'm currently practising these mousebutton parry also and now im better aware when i spam to much mouseclicks:D

Yep, but tbh I don't know if it's the best. There is some positive and negative to it, and I can tell because the 50h I played on the beta was with melee assist. Anyway, the game already have a lot of assist as long as you are looking at the enemy.

it could be bugged because yoto was a lil bit above (little stone) but in my opinion the parry was a lil bit to early, i think the yoto not spammed and the focus came a lil bit later stop get pain/hurt yourself, chinese/NA players had one month more beta:) (training)
