Thanks for that lovely story. My favorite village will remain where i used to live , in the south west of France .It runs along a river called LA GARONNE. There is bakery, a supermarket, markets . even though with the time , some shops have started to disappeared, the village ties to keep its authenticity. It is a place surrounded by fields where in summer you can pick apples, nectarines to dilate your taste buds and others succulents fruits . once a year , villagers gather together to eat and chat . It is a very pleasant place to live surrounded by a beautiful nature and people.

When I listen to any stories about English small towns or villages, I feel happy and immerse head over heels into the vibe of this life. What about my favourite village, I'd like to suggest a location called "Twin Peaks" in North America 😁 Thank's a lot for your work!)

Thanks a lot for incredible story. Good job 👍👍👍 My favourite village is the village where I was born -- Beliki (Poltava region, Kobeliakskiy district, Ukraine). This is a typical Ukrainian village, situated on the picturesque bank of the Vorskla River. Many years ago there were two factories: sugar factory, milk-canning plant. Both companies were ended, equipment scrapped. A lot of people has been lived here, however they went to other countries to look for work. The local government is undermined by corruption and nepotism. The area around countryside is very nice with an awesome nature. There's a surprisingly pleasant microclimate, clean air, and a beautiful landscape.

I learnt English in a boarding school at Lechlade. It's small village where almost everybody know each other. It's quite touristic, though, especially on weekends when people enjoy going to the river.

I loved this story! My dream is to live in a village like this. Now I live in a big city and seeing so many buildings, and being away from nature makes me feel a little sad. I love small towns!

I live in a village it's so lonely and silent ..Every one is known to each other If there's a stranger around every one knows about it.. I love the rainy season especially during the nights the frogs 🐸 crocking and the sound of the rain beating on the roof top..

Thanks for this channel...but I don't think it's a B2 or C1 story. I think could be a low level like A2 or possibly B1 level. It's pronunciation is pretty good but not as faster as B2 or C1 is actually. But, 🍀🍀🍀 luck!

Hi Uzma, Which words were we missing for you? It would be good for us to know :) It's always a hard choice for us to pick which vocabulary to explain at the end of each story (as there are so many to choose from) - we try to pick the words that are most used or might be most useful for our readers in everyday life. Thank you for watching!
