Not gonna lie, I'd to struggle when I was listening to this story full of amazing advanced vocabs for the first time. Yet, I didn't give up. I took down the notes about the new words and listened two more times until I finally comprehand each and every sentence thoroughly. It's tall-over but I did. Thanks 💚

I am not an advanced speaker, but I can understand about 80 percent of text... and from each story I take at least one expression , today it is - a disastrous twist of fate.

Another edifying story with good vocab. I'm wondering is that a British standard accent? I'm practicing standard accent listening to your stories? Thanks.
@LovelyEnglishStories3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! So glad you enjoyed it 😃 There isn’t really a standard British accent. There are lots of different accents in the U.K., and often these can differ from town to town. We always try to record quite neutrally in our videos to help with pronunciation and understanding.

Yes, sometimes it’s frustrating when you’re trying to speak and people keep correcting you. Some people do like it but others don’t. We are sure you’re doing brilliantly! Don’t be put off if people do point out your mistakes,

Please do not use so many advanced english word together, you should use only 5 to 10 new words in one time

Hi Mustafa! Thanks for watching. For every person the amount of new words in the stories will be different. However, this story is highest level on the CEFR scale so it’s very advanced and the vocabulary reflects the level.
