Hello teacher Ben. Here's my example! When it comes to language learning, it's really challenging to tackle the anxiety of getting fluency. Most of the time I'm dread about grammar contents and I try to hasten things, even though I'm conscious that this attitude can hinder my progress and jeopardise my final results on exams. In order to thrive and succeed we have not to shirk our responsability as learners, embrace the opportunities and calm ourselves down.

Hi Ben, these verbs are extremely useful. I encounter many of them when I read newspapers or watch any series. So, I highly appreciate this video. I have good news, at least for me. I don’t want to hinder your job, and that’s why I haven’t shirked the responsibility to write this comment. Anyway, you don’t need to dread that I won't post anymore, because I can promise you that I cherish your way of teaching. It greatly helps me thrive in English every single day. In fact, I crave to keep watching all your videos. Despite jeopardising my eye health by spending so much time in front of a screen, you don’t need to worry; if I encounter any trouble, I will tackle it. On the other hand, surprisingly enough, I’m not the kind of student who wants to hasten their learning process, because I enjoy the journey. As you know, there are no shortcuts to learning English. In conclusion, with your permission, I embrace you because you help me a lot in my own learning process. Take care, Ben!

Gosh, you've just given me a really good inspiration for expanding on verbs in particular. It was the verb to thrive that inspired me. Somehow I seemed to remember that the American Constitution or Declaration Of Independence used somewhere the formulation that every human being should thrive for the pursuit of happiness so I looked it up. Even though I found the article I didn't see the verb to thrive used anywhere but I did notice that the Declaration Of Independence is an excellent reference to expand on advanced verbs as it continuously talks about depriving people of their rights, longing for self-determination and other beautiful concepts.

Here are my examples with the words fom the video. I was that person who thrived during pandemic times. The possibility of working in the same job for most of my aduld life dreaded me and I craved trying myself in different work field. So I made a decision to tackle my work issue and I hastened to find an online work. I knew I cherished language learning since I was a child, so I jeopardized and applied to an English teacher vacancy. I embraced all the problems being arisen and never shirked my responsibilities, and now I really cherish my lfestyle and work. Previous job didn't hinder my well-being, while now I feel so very good

Hello, Ben! I am a new subscriber here and it looks like I am in a right place to improve my poor English! I’ve been thinking about it for ages and this is the time to tackle it, finally :) I would love to hasten my learning process here, but 2 years ago I embraced an opportunity to move to Portugal and right now I do my best to thrive as a Portuguese speaker. I hasten to add, that I know that learning two foreign languages at the same time could hinder my progress in both, but I am not going to jeopardise my achievements and put too much pressure on myself. I will try to buoy myself up and stave off burnout. Thank you, Ben, for videos! I’ve never heard about these words and they seem super useful!

Very informative. Content for advanced speakers is quite rare so thanks a bunch! Trivia : "To cherish" probably comes from the French "chérir" that means the same. "Mon/ma chéri(e)" (= my cherished) is the most common way to refer to your romantic partner (a bit like "darling" or "honey")

Hi, this is your first video that I have watched and I like it a lot. So I stay here to improve with your news videos. I have written five sentences with those verbs: - My cousin can't shirks his school duties because he has a complex exam next week. His father would have to tackle him if he want his son to pass the course. - My mother hinders my deep concentration when she comes to my bedroom while I am studying. She still doesn't know that she jeopardises my methods of learning. - I have always dreaded thinking where I will work when I will finish my university years. I hope I can thrive with each experience and each person who helps me. - My sister often tells me that she cherished summers with our grandparents. I think that she craves returns to those years. - The best advice anyone gave me was that to improve your mental health you must embrace all opportunities to express your wishes and concerns. I hasten to add that a psychologist is essential.

Hannah have been shirking her responsibilities in her studies, therefore, her exam results have been jeopardized! On another note, I suggest her to avoid dreading about the exams which will strongly hinder with her results. If she takes my advice, I believe she will cherish her hard work in the future. ❤❤
