@@hrikissenpai7369 Nah it's not misinfo since you are right, it does currently give less defence. Also I'd suggest not using tier 1 reagents like seaweed for jewels, use tier 2 stuff like auric seaweed (unless you meant that) since you get more exp and more of a bonus from it

Do not farm gems using charts, I solved a legendary chart earlier and I got zero gems. Just stick with the 20% drop rate from the sealed chests, and you won’t have to spend 15 minutes digging around Ravenna..

tip for getting toxic sea water: you dont need to be IN the dark sea just near it. i set up a camp on the top of the rift and just jumped down and bottled up plenty

i did some math for common and uncommon reagent jewelcrafting it takes an overall minimum of 167 gems and 835 common/uncommon reagents to max out jewelcrafting skill

I have not tride this: Gels apply the effect on hit so if you put in a damaging reagent like bones it would apply bonus damage every hit. Sense the bonus damage is an effect to the target being hit and not the one useing the gel, the bonus damage should never change. So if you were to hit someone with a multi-hiting attack the effect would apply multipul times.

if you use 10 10% breathing gems you get 100% oxygen and can literally stay underwater for like no time limit (inf)

100% isn't infinite oxygen, it's DOUBLE the normal oxygen. 100% is ADDED to your already existing oxygen, not infinite oxygen. Same for everything else. It's added percentage, not infinite.

Question, does blocking power increase the block you get when you block or parry an attack or does it decrease raw incoming damage? If its the 2nd one thats really OP

Idk what u meant by the first one, but basically the 2nd one makes more sense to me, and yea it is the 2nd one. Basically when you block with no jewels, you block 50% of damage. With the blocking percentage, it ADDS to that 50%, so if you get 10% more, you block 60% of damage. If you get 25% altogether from 10 jewels, you get 75% blocking percentage.

Blocking power decreases the amount of damage you take while blocking, for the first half of that question I think giving it the Sturdy enchantment is what increases the amount of block the shield has before breaking. If that makes sense XD

Gems got wiped, if you still haven't played in the update. You can't farm gems from rocks as much as you could before, now u need to farm gems from treasure charts and bronze sealed chests from ships, underwater ruins, or treasure charts. U can get gems from normal chests as-well.

@@arandomwalnut7373 Right now I'm using energy regen because of how quickly it regens energy, but you can choose anything. For underwater ruins, you can use air capacity that helps a lot. The most common reagent, or I would say, the easiest reagent to farm, would be the coppershroom on top of the jaws.

Coppershrooms can be found on the spires in the jaws or on the east side of Mount othrys. I suggest going to the latter because they spawn in bunches there

Oki ull probably wont see this but i just have a question cuz i want to make sure i am doing this thing right. I am an explosion conjurer who is focusing on power, defense and attk speed for their build.(just for context). I want to add the best power jewls on my armor, along with energy refill (because i am a conj). So what i should first do is destroy trees in order to get tree sap, then use uncommon and rare shells to craft revealing potions, to help when doing underwater diving for bronze sealed chests, along with using water breathing too. I should also ship farm for them too, (even tho this method is not as good) when i have enough rubies, sunstones, or zircons,(becuz they are power gems), I should use those along with coppershrooms( found in jaws) for energy refill, to finally make power jewls with energy refill to put on my armor? Ik this is alot and might be confusing in some way but i just on want to screw up may amor it took a long time to get the set i currently have and i just want to make sure i am doing this in the best way possible. If u respond i would be very appreciative! :)

Don't forget that you can remove jewels after you use them on your armour. Just press Q to open the jewel crafting menu.

People farmed seaweed/clams and spammed water breathing potions for max brewing, only way to max jewelcrafting fast it to have friends that feed you gems. Legit snail pace otherwise 💀

Explaining how this works is vague, but basically the airship extends like how a telescope extends. Just search telescope mechanism, I used that trick and hid the motorlock inside of the ship so that it works out well.

Like I said in the video, you need to craft gems to get experience to level up your jewel crafting skill. You need 100 jewels and 500 rare+ reagents to get max jewel crafting.

Yep, but rn Amethyst is glitched and only gives half the defence as other jewels. Any amethyst jewels will have their values fixed when the patch is published though
