I’m only 20 and been playing since I was 6 but this book made me progress faster along than any other book or lesson I’ve ever had (I’m self taught). Don’t stop practicing !!

Muy claro y bien explicado. Un tip de parte de alguien que viene estudiando latín jazz hace un tiempo, si tocan el groove tal cual cómo está acá pueden usarlo en un contexto de fusión ( algo más Funk o un latin orientado hacia otro género), si omiten el bombo del 1er tiempo El groove va a sonar más "latino tradicional" al estar acompañando de manera más directa el bajo mientras hace el "tumbao" ;)

Genial crack!, es super util aprender a tocar latin (en especial por la dificultad que este tipo de ritmos tienen en la bateria) , hay una variacion del raid que podrias hacer, que es hacer el mismo patron pero acentuar solo ciertas notas con la campana (TUN TUN tutuTUTUN tutuTUTUN). Mucho exito !
