Out of all the tools and info you have in this video, your plater profile has to be the single biggest helper. As I was watching you in the beginning, I texted my friend “man, I need to clean up my plater. One thing I learned here priority is to get 5+ combo points to spam envenom by FOK and keeping track of caustic spatter. I used to just keep spamming mutilate in packs for CT, the dps increase is massive by using FOK and envenom. Great fun to learn optimizing this.

Well thanks, I started 2 weeks before TWW and IDK the best skills rotation. Although I put up a fight in the DPS meter on Mythic+ I knew I was doing some things wrong, and it shows instantly when a good DPS is in the group. Your UI's also helped, I keep missing stuff on mine as it's overwhelmed with useless information Also if I can share a little something here, Bubbling Wax is bugged and does non downscaled damage in timewalking BC raids (and possibly in dungeons too), since they're not too hard it's only a matter of clearing them faster, which I'm ok with. Just be careful with aggro and don't forget getting Tricks of the Trade, if you die it doesn't work anymore and you have to reapply them.

it's a tough one with maintaining bleeds etc, a good UI is a must to keep track of bleeds etc such as the linked plater profile. It very rewarding once you get it right though, good luck!

1: It sometimes does make sense to bleed / crimson temp mobs that are low because of sudden demise. 2: Not true that more combo points only increase duration, crimson temp increases dmg significantly.

Sorry I’m late but Marco’s wrong here To the first one, it doesn’t make sense to bleed for sudden demise. Sudden demise damage is by definition inefficient damage. You need to have 150 damage to deal 100 sudden demise damage. That then means you are essentially “losing” 33% of your bleed when it procs. Do not play around sudden demise. It is a damage recovery tool for when mobs are dying quickly, it is not a dps gain The second one I’m not sure what the math here is but combo point damage on finishers has always been linear. A 1 combo point crimson tempest does the same damage per tick as a 7 combo point crimson tempest. The same is true for something like envenom where the damage is also calculated linearly with combo points. Each point adds the same amount of damage Hope that helps

No matter how many guides I watch or how many times I go hit the target dummys or anything, I do absolutely no damage in mythic+ whatsoever and I also don't enjoy trying to do the rotation either. They made this spec insanely difficult for little to no benefit to the community.

I think it's because of nerves and extra things to keep track of. I don't consider myself xXRogueMasterXx but I did play this class since legion. If you calm yourself and try to limit your movement while doing damage to mob groups in m+ it gets better. All this based on personal experience, maybe you are calmer than me and don't A-D continuously while damagin.

@@sultanos3247 that depends of whether you want to focus on raid or keys but generally speaking the duskthread lining embellishment on an off-piece is a good place to start as it’s good in all content. If you haven’t yet gotten a strong main hand dagger you should start there though and use the blessed weapon chain

just the standard nameplates profile, the bars go red if you have aggro on a mob which is very helpful for knowing when to send vanish

Why do we need to use rupture twice on 5 mobs? does it increase damage? duration? Also, if there are 8 mobs and we do the whole rotation you mentioned within the 6 seconds but we only use those spells on one main target, will it automatically recognize which target has rupture and garrote and apply to the rest or is it on random and we have to click on separate mobs to try and get those spells on them?

Yes and no. You want to 5 ruptures out for the agility buff, and it's just good value to spread as many bleeds as possible during your carnage window. It will smartly apply dots to targets that don't have a bleed on them that are in range. However if there is 6+ targets it is technically optimal to target swap but I rarely do this myself. It's optimal to swap in 6+ as then you are getting two lots of three applications rather than 3+2 (+1 reapply)

Quick question: I've installed the plater and other things, but the text indicator for no slice and dice active is smack in the center of my ui, and very large. I've combed through the weak auras settings and the plater settings, but for the life of me I can't find where I can change the position and size of this alert. Any ideas? @@WunderFrauEivi that’s a weakaura. When you open weakaura settings and click onto the weak aura you should be able to reposition it and change the group scale on the general settings tab. I believe it’s package weakaura so you’ll need to search slice n’ dice to find this specific weak aura

@@Shivzrogue Thank you. I did find the weak aura under Luxthos Rogue (Shivz Edit) --> Slice and Dice (Assassination). Unfortunately I still can't find where I can change this setting. There doesn't appear to be anything condition/trigger wise I can change so that it doesn't alert me at all if Slice and Dice isn't active. I also can't find where I can change the position of that message [X Slice and Dice X] when it does come up. I'm stumped. I'll keep trying though. Thanks for your help. :)

I had no idea you can keep spreading bleeds on the same target to other mobs. I would always switch my target to the ones who didn't have it.

@@Destrabyss just bare in mind it’s better to swap targets as it will spread 2 additional bleeds and reapply to your current target during that indiscriminate carnage window. So if there are lot of targets it would be possible to get 9 out from pressing it three times so long as you tab to a target without the buff. I mostly just spread off my current target but as I’m getting more comfortable with routes and playing assassination I’m starting to swap targets more during that spreading part

Yo, im doing 10-11+ with my friend Assa rog but he can't use Caustic spatter correctly, he allways has about 120M~Damage overral with caustic spatter when other Assa rogues from pug got 250-280M, you know what he can do to improve that? what is the key to improve Caustic spatter damage?

well - firstly he needs to know which mobs to cleave off. The plater profile should help, as it turns the nameplate green to show when caustic spatter is up on the target. The plater profile also shows most high hp mobs in blue which will make it easier also to know what to cleave off.

I need to buy coaching, do you offer such thing? Cuz... gotta be honest, I downloaded the addons and setup everything and my mind is blown, I can't track everything that is happening on the screen. I've been playing with Hekili and usually my UI is super clean (all nameplates turned off), now all of those things popped up and I think I need 8 eyes to track everything + all the enemies and their spells and kicks and all of it. Hekili got me to 2.4k rating and 623 ilvl so far, so I guess it's something, not a big deal, but not a big effort either. Maybe first I need to understand what all those spells do, since I haven't read a single one.

PvE I think it would help to get the opener down but at he same time they’ll me many situation in m+ where you may want to open without KB and Mark but possibly still use Shiv so your not really saving many key strokes.
