Hi! Looks very promising :) I was wondering if there is any method included in this workflow to create new custom blendshapes as well?

Hi :)) You can sculpt and integrate custom blendshapes by using Metapipe, the process inside the video

But how to bind the head to custom body skeleton, and body mesh, so the gap have proper weights on both skeletons?

Hi, Metapipe doesn't support custom body skeletons yet.

This is great. I will buy but working with The free version I get syntax errors. Got it working twice then error on line 91. Then now on line 5 no longer working. Last time it was working I was on the load dna then errors. I’m on python 3.12 I think. Either way I’m getting full version soon. Great job sir.

Hello Mr. This is amazing. But I see this is a overview of the program for those who were already familiar with the old version. Can you do a step by step.. and how do you append extra meshes in this model like the spikes? Or where do paint the materials. Thanks

You can watch the step by step tut of the Old Ver on his channel For the spikes, from what he said, they are made from editing the topology of the non-spike head mesh If u mean painting body textures, thats unrelated to this tut, but u can watch other tuts where they customize metahuman tex in Substance Painter

I've added the Corrective Blendshapes script to my Arts and Spells folder like the instructions said but, the script doesn't show in Maya.

How long does it actually take to replace the body and face?

If you have prepared your meshes and wraped them, for a person that knows the process well it takes 5-10 min to transfer the rig. You can extend it by modifying blendshapes by sculpting and it depends on person's ability

Does your tool allow to change the position of the bones for different facial expressions?

Unfortunately it is not. They are hided inside Metahuman technology. It only gives you the ability to change the blendshapes. And that is mostly enough for final look because existing rotations already gives the needed movement.

@@artsnspells Are these blendshapes the one that are only available in LOD0, or does every expression have an equivalent blendshape? I would've thought that editing the smile of the frog creature would've meant adding a corrective blendshape to the smile controls rather than sculpting the entire smile in zBrush.

Metahuman's all 700+ expressions comes with that process so that you don't need to sculpt it from scratch. You have a base to start and with just couple of move and drags in zbrush can save the blendshape. Didnt count but I think I spent like max 5 min for an expression. And for now expressions are only for lod0, because of the Metahuman Nature, but if you can use lower Lod's as custom topology and put them in calculation, that will solve the problem I guess. @@baileycohen7775
