Possible question:: When u have deleted controlfile from physical location . How ur able to see the path from database view ?

v$controlfile view can be queried for the path of the control file, though physical file is deleted the path will still be present in this view

Continuing the answer as the control files are mentioned in spfile we can see it in the database view
