holiday yufine might just be one of the most slept on units rn, with sweet miracle you can run her as opener which basically acts like laia but can attack buff, can dodge shit from ran/zio/nakwol and also when paired with taeyou can completly counter s-politis

she's ok but considering top 2 meta units are elbris knights I wouldn't recommend it. if you preban them you're inviting to be ran cleaved so if you have a draft I def think she works. Legend player Rikazo is really good at playing her but I wouldn't recommend a really aged limited unit to new players.

I ban that dancing ghost every time. Then pick units at the start that are bullies that people have to react too. It tends to work out. I just need to lean into what my account does and that is brusiers/tanks.

Followed step 1 and 2 (Ban zio pick Clilias/Ml Landy) then pivoted into Ran/Eda cleave and went from placements to Master in about 3-4 hours. If the cleave doesn't work just believe in Landy. Thanks for the strats.

Hey valky thanks for the guide as always man but question how does one deal with hp scalers without any any injury units? i have sharun but have no gear nor resources to raise her and the only one i have raised that has injury is apoc. Been hella struggling against super tanky units especially laia

there's a side story right now that lets you farm speed set on 1 side and hp set on the other. you could probably cop 6 pieces in a few days if you put your mind to it. Her stat reqs are really loose.

in a vacuum he's good vs her since he doesn't rely on crits. in a team setting he has a lot of weaknesses that need sto be covered. One of those units you pick on 5 and then they ban.

"with confidence" means you lock it in the moment it's your turn to draft lol. If I see my opponent pick a fast unit to check me but hesitate a lot I usually don't respect it.

So I played rta for the first season since lqc skin and as I have before, did the whole climb to master before watching this and now I feel I need to ask something. One of the things you mentioned about proper rta play is counter picking, but what if you just ignore when someone does that? Ex: My draft plan is Laika, Nahkwol, Alaika, Fumyr, and then flex between Jenua aria and teyron. I preban laia and then ml poli when I get to master. My draft is clearly alaika setup so I often see zio, cilias, and moon bunny picked when I do my nahkwol, but I ignore it and it seems to just work. Any idea as to why players seem to freeze in draft when the other player just doesn’t react to their counterpick?

Too many people don't consider e7 a card game and can't comprehend that someone is just going play their deck and ignore the drafting meta game.

masters and below people usually are giga missing heroes to punish or lack the fundamental knowledge to know what counter picks those units you named in a team setting (often both). I hold a very strong opinion if you design a real gameplan anyone can hit champion.

stuns(arowell, politis), unbuffable (aola, nahkwol), and barriers (lrk, carmin, mediator) severely limit her injury output

Nahkwol can shut her down. I always pick c. lillias (first pick) and nahkwol (if I'm the second pick, together with c. lillias) 3rd and 4th depends on the enemy's pick.

If you have SC carrot she has stolen so many games for me. I'm also a very slow player and she typically only needs 2-3 turns to solo the team

cleave units like that usually have a key thing that makes them work that you have to play around, which is the thing that makes them frustrating for new players. pavel/eligos need souls to work so they get shut down by belian. ml pavel needs allies to crit, so you can counter that with anti crit like ml landy or just reduce crit damage like albedo. cidd is single target so you can hide a stealth unit behind tanks. if that's the specific comp you have issues with, sounds like albedo + 2 other tanks (either aurius mitigators or elbris bruisers) with a fast unit like ran to choke them and a stealthed briar witch makes ez work of that cleave.

Worst season I've ever experienced. This season's meta is the worst, especially if you don't have a hero like ml solitaria who can stop focus or a hero who can reset their skills like Taeyou. This meta has too many extra attacks, dual attacks and very strong non attack skills. especially non attack skills, only a few heroes can punish them & yes..most of them still dead cause dual attack why? Cause s1 laia, lilias, ml politis this three hero is just different level. I just ban laia & ml politis. Fighthing ml lilias is the way tbh for me cause she been long exist on meta.. Experienced speaking. Zio is not that scary cause cleaver kinda ded this season 😂
