I'm a med student who got into music production on the side and I was really close to giving up until I found your videos. I love your explanations, they're clear and concise, and most importantly you explain the "why" and not just "how", because I don't wanna just be sitting here turning random knobs until I find the sound that suits me, I want to understand why it sounds the way it does. You're really saving my life here, great content!

Thank you, sir. You have helped me greatly in breaking out of the "preset rabbit hole" and create my own patches. It helps me CREATE the sound I'm looking for, rather than wasting money on VSTs and preset packs that may or may not have the type of sound I'm going for. It's so liberating. Trying to make somebody else's sound/patch fit your needs is expensive and tedious. Having the ability to fire up almost any Synthesizer and create the instrument I want is the greatest freedom I have experienced in 12 years of audio engineering.

These are really good lessons! The information is incredibly compact, there’s never a wasted moment. I could tell you put a lot of effort into scripting and planning the roadmap for these lessons, you didn’t just open fl studio and start talking. You were meticulous, concise, and incredibly informative. I found that if I zoned out for a moment I had to rewind because in those two seconds I missed something important. A-class work, on both this and the previous video, you’ve got a sub from me

i already had a decent understanding of most of the stuff you talked about just through my own exploration into synth. but watching your videos getting a coherent explanation of all the modulation and everything really drives home the information to me and helps me have a clearer understanding of what i need to do to get a sound the way i want it. i watch fl tutorials occasionally and usually the host kind of talks as if i already understand what the plugin is or how he got the the sound hes at. i really feel like im missing out on the whole picture but your tutorials so far have been really exceptional to me. i dont feel like steps were skipped or anything. good job man keep it up.
