Random question regarding meterpreter shells. Let's say I want to use proxy chains then use msfconsole to deliver payload and get a reverse TCP shell. Would it be as simple as 1 - set up local socks proxy, start proxy chains and then msfconsole. Or am I missing something due to setting lport or lhost? My concern is that lhost will go to the proxy rather than my attacking machine. I would really appreciate a reply. Thanks dude
