I really like the way you're bringing us all along on your ASL journey. And yes it gets so expensive to get a collection together, particularly with ASL. Mind you, that also reflects just how well respected this whole system is. We overuse the word but ASL genuinely qualifies as an industry 'classic'. Keep it up Hissy, fascinating!

I agree, ASL is a 'Classic' and has an active and supportive community with what seems to be an unlimited supply of content for the game. I can not wait till I can give back to the community. I am glad you have been enjoying my journey and thank you for watching. I have found I really like creating content and like the ASL community, many of the content creators I have meet have been supportive and inspiring. The last three months have been wonderful. =)

Sometimes with OOP stuff, you just have to bite the financial bullet. I paid £95 for Leading Edge's Aliens Expansion (my first copy in '89 was £15, if memory serves 🙂) The expansion was more expensive than the game, 'cos it's rarer.

I know you are correct and I did buy SK2, but SK3 is ~$140... OUCH. I hope MMP reprints the SK's. =)

This is part of getting into the game, learning what and how to get game components. At the time I purchased SK2, I didn't know if MMP would reprint the SK's. That's why I am waiting for the reprints. Where would someone purchase Scenarios and Maps?

BV is Beyond Valor, which I got for less than SK2.

@@HissyCat first edition BV is cheap and you can get American counters from old paratrooper module or buy 3rd party counters that are out there. About $10/sheet

Any idea where I can purchase replacement counters. I purchased SK's 1-4 from a garage sale but they are missing virtually all the counters and I am not sure what is missing but I expect its 90% judging by your video from this SK alone

Hi Shaker, thank for watching. the game is published by Multi-Man Publishing mmpgamers.com/asl-starter-kit-c-2_8 they may sell just the counter sheets, not sure, you can contact them and ask. hope this helps.
