Yes actually. Usually whenever I come across an extra item like a barrier recovery or anything else I actually go out of my way to toss it in x, usually near corners of the cell arena or somewhere notable like at kami's lookout. This way later on in the game myself or somone else can find a use for it.

@@joyrider9215 That doesn't help long term. You can only ping one item at a time. And the idea is to prepare for the future. Plus if the item is outside of X, it holds a risk of being destroyed by the raider. It's smarter to store an extra item where it can be safe.

My Tips (Part 1 of 2): +Oolong's Change(Camo), Fake Death, and Smoke Bomb ALL remove the Raider's lock-on. Use any of them in mid-air fights to remove their lock-on, and get your next hit in. +Fake Death is best used in bushes/hedges, where your body is hidden from the Raider's view. It's also best used right up against walls/ledges. A majority of the time, Raiders will fly right over you. ++Fake Death can be used in a multitude of situations to trick the Raider, such as using it near fallen allies, or using it in the middle of caves where civilians would have been, etc. +Smoke Bomb is effective when starting up the Super Time Machine. The Raider can obviously blast wherever the Smoke is, but you can take that opportunity to BulmaBike/GrappleHook out of the Smoke, or just run around the STM and continue the startup from the other side (and the Raider, being unable to target you, will struggle to hit you as you change positions). +If the Raider is using Ki Sense and you're near a civilian, stand right next to the civilian, wait for the Ki Sense to end, then hide behind a crate. If you have Fake Death or Change(Camo), even better. The Raider will assume that their Ki Sense spotted a civilian, not a Survivor. They'll kill the civilian, then fly off. +Enemy Radar is only useful in two very specific, but two very frustrating situations: A) If the Raider is hiding their Ki by hiding on the ground. B) The Raider is near dead and they're hiding in a cave. ++If a Raider is ambushing players by hiding their Ki, it's near impossible to tell if it's safe to travel through cities or caved areas. Enemy Radar will let you know if the place is safe. ++If a Raider is hiding in a cave, you cannot tell which side of the cave they're hiding. They can easily blast you with their strongest specials to kill you (even if you're a level 4) if you picked the wrong side to check. Enemy Radar will tell you exactly which side they're on. +High Alert and On Guard are useless for most situations, except for Runners, Hiders, and Fighters. ++If you're the type of Survivor that will FLEE an Area the moment they know the Raider is nearby: On Guard (heartbeat range) is your best bet. It will give you enough time to get what you need and LEAVE. ++If you're the type of Survivor that will HIDE with Change(Camo) or FakeDeath the moment they know the Raider is in the Area: High Alert (sound range) is your best bet. It will give you plenty of time to find the perfect hiding spot. ++If you're the type of Survivor that's looking for a fight, High Alert is your best bet. Even if the Raider is hiding their Ki, you'll be able to know generally where they are by listening for their cues (flight sounds, specific footsteps, blasts, etc). ++If you're not specifically any one of these, or are vaguely like one or some of these: Don't equip these Passives. They're useless to you. +Ki Tracking is beyond useful if you want to know where the Raider is at all times, and you want your team to know where the Raider is at all times. ++Raiders will show up on Survivors' HUDs as a little devil icon when they're (A) Spotted by a teammate, (B) Are in an open area, flying around, and blasting, or (C) All of the above. ++Their icon will disappear if (A) The Raider is obscured from players' views for long enough, (B) The Raider stays still for long enough, (C) The Raider has stopped attacking, (D) The Raider has their feet on the ground, or (E) A combination of any of the above. ... And these criteria? They stack, reducing the time the icon appears significantly. A Raider can easily disappear from Survivors' view if they knew how to. ++Ki Tracking increases the length of the Raider's icon remaining on screen for you. So even if the Raider decided to hide in a cave, stop moving, and remain on the ground: you'll know they're in there. ++Most Raiders either don't know they can ambush Survivors, or they simply don't bother with it - so Ki Tracking really is just for the more bothersome kind of Raiders (aka myself). +If a NEARBY Raider is using Ki Sense and you're in a cave, hug the wall near the entrance - either the left or right. Wait for them to approach, and the moment you know they're going to enter the cave: Use Solar Flare. ++Or, set a Trap Device where you assume they'll enter the cave, then hug the wall and wait. ++Or, get on your Bulma Bike and wait for them to get close to the cave's entrance, then zoom out immediately. ++Or, if they're far enough, just as their Ki Sense ends: switch which side of the entrance you're on - you can roll right past them without them noticing you (they'll be aiming their camera on the opposite side of the cave). ++Or, roll TOWARDS the Raider and then use Dragon Change. Using Dragon Change immediately after they enter the cave is A BAD IDEA - you'll knock them towards the front of the cave, blocking your only way out - and they'll just Ki Blast Spam you to death. But if you roll towards the Raider and then use Dragon Change, YOU'LL be at the front of the cave, and your change will knock them INTO the center of the cave: allowing you far more options of escape. +Things that can kill the Raider if they only have a miniscule amount of health left: Kaioken Rush, Vegeta's Gloves, Super Rocket Launcher (not confirmed), any ki blast from ANY Dragon Change level (Level 1s included). +If the Super Time Machine is about 95% complete, you are GUARANTEED A VICTORY, so long as you remain near it. A single non-transformed punch (just press the melee/ki blast button near the Raider) will stall the Raider just enough to allow the STM to go up by a small increment. You have TWO of these (one that will break your barrier, and one that will kill you). YOU WILL NET MORE POINTS from dying against the Raider and launching the STM, than you would if you escaped in the Escape Time Machine. +If the Super Time Machine is almost done but you have 7 Dragon Balls: SUMMON SHENRON ANYWAYS. Everyone will net more points for it. +If you're afraid of how fast the Raider is collecting Dragon Balls and you don't trust your teammates nor yourself to take it from them: Take at least ONE Dragon Ball, Bulma Bike/Grapple Hook far away from the Raider (so they don't have the chance to realize you have it), and put it in a really obscure CORNER of the map (don't hide it in a cave or a building). Raiders, even with level 3 Dragon Radars, will not be able to find it due to them only checking the expected areas with the Radar. +If a Raider is obviously using a Dragon Radar and you're carrying a Dragon Ball (aka They're Chasing You)... Go into a cave, drop the Dragon Ball in the center while you hug the wall near the cave's entrance. The Raider will pick up the Dragon Ball then proceed to check the cave. GET OUT OF THE CAVE THE MOMENT THEY PICK UP THE DRAGON BALL (it has an animation they can't cancel). If you have any stun abilities, use it now, then RUN. ++Smoke Bombs are extremely useful in this situation, as the Raiders can lose their orientation due to the smoke, and it will prevent you from being locked-onto as they exit the cave.
@airorello6290
@airorello6290 Жыл бұрын
My Tips (Part 2 of 2): +If a Raider is attacking you, the only stun Skill that's effective is Solar Flare. All other stun Skills will be cancelled by attacks. +Trap Device stuns the Raider for 5 or so seconds, and a single Device may stun the Raider twice in a row (lasting 8-10 seconds). Solar Flare stuns the Raider for 4 or so seconds. Krillin's Shoe and Go-Go Gum stuns the Raider for exactly 3 seconds. Time these stuns carefully for escapes and stalling. ++If you're looking for a stall-build, be sure to have Yamcha Transpheres with Wolf Fang Fist, as Wolf Fang Fist has a long-lasting melee animation. ++Trap Devices stun twice by having their electricity animation run longer than the Raider is stunned. If the Raider moves into the Trap Device's electricity shortly after escaping it: they're stunned a second time. The chances of this are increased if they're near the center of the Trap Device - as they can easily fly into either the horizontal or vertical lines. ++Solar Flare is the most effective stun tool, but it has a limited range and can ONLY work IN FRONT of the Raider. You can't use it behind the Raider, nor to the side of the Raider. You must be more in front of the Raider than to their side in order for it to work from the side. The effective range would be about a STM and a half. No further than that. ++Krillin's Shoe has the most range of the stuns, but it is the slowest in speed and can easily miss its targets. Only use it after 1) the lock-on circle appears on your screen, and 2) the Raider stops moving. If the Raider is moving around, the shoe WILL miss. Time and space it well. ++Go-Go Gum has a slower startup animation, but its projectile flies MUCH faster than Krillin's Shoe - making it more effective against a SLOW-moving Raider. Its recharge takes much longer, however, making it a Skill you need to time perfectly to make it worth its while. ++Best Stall tactics: Krillin's Shoe => Wait 2 sec = > Go-Go-Gum => Wait 3 sec => Solar Flare => Wait 2 sec => WolfFangFist (WolfFangFist has a slow startup animation) +If you want gold FAST, get on a vehicle and just DRIVE through buildings and caves. Furniture will, most-times, explode into coins - which doesn't give as much gold as Gold Bars, but every little bit counts. Shooting boxes only takes a couple seconds, sure. But driving through furniture takes milliseconds! Just drive through every furniture in the area, get off your vehicle after, then pick up any Power Cubes/Radars/Capsule Cases/Gold that may have dropped from breaking furniture. This. Saves. Time. Minutes, really. +Always remain at an angle/perpendicular to the Raider when running away. Their Ki blasts, especially Frieza's, only aim straightforward. If the Raider is directly behind you: their blasts are SURE to hit. Remain at an angle while running, or stay perpendicular, and you're far more likely to avoid Ki blasts. ++ If you're looking to up your dodge game: Dodge TOWARDS the Raider. Most Raiders expect Survivors to flee FROM them, and that's where they angle all their shots. But rarely ever do they expect a Survivor to flee TOWARDS them. Either dodge roll or bulma bike or grapple hook TOWARDS and UNDERNEATH the Raider: and you'll lose them far faster than if you just zig-zagged. +If a Raider is camping in a strange spot (not particularly where bodies are)... high chance: they have a Power Key radar, and they're camping a Key. Avoid approaching them unless: You have a level 3 Dragon Change, multiple Skills that can stun the Raider, and/or rocket launchers. The Raider will kill off anyone that comes near, but all it takes is just ONE PERSON to touch the Key to ruin the Raider's plan. Your job isn't to chase off the Raider: Your job is to knock them far away enough to grab the Power Key safely. +Before putting down a Power Key, ALWAYS look around you. THE LAST THING you want is for the Raider to find out where you're planting the Power Key. The moment they see you there: their objective will be to camp the Power Key Slot for as long as possible. Keep an eye out, ensure the Raider isn't watching you. And it's always best to plant a Key with teammates. ++You can also trick the Raider where the Key Slot is. If you bought the crouch emote in the shop, use that emote in an area where the Key Slot usually spawns (if the Raider is camping the entire Area). The Raider will assume that's the Key Slot they need to camp, and will abandon the other spots - giving you a better chance at completing the Power Key. ++If a Power Key Slot IS being camped, ensure you have level 3 Dragon Change, at least one Skill that can stun the Raider, and rocket launchers... and only approach if another teammate is coming with you. Have one Survivor plant the key, while the other distracts the Raider. If you get the Raider to fall for a Stun Device, you will have JUST ENOUGH time to plant the Power Key. ++If a Power Key IS being camped and you're all by yourself, your only option is to gather all 7 Dragon Balls. Gather as much as you can, and then use rocket launchers against the Raider (as they'll most likely have the remaining few). Grab the Dragon Balls and RUUUUN. Now you have two options: Get to an altar in a NEIGHBORING Area, or go to an altar on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MAP. If you go to a neighboring Area, start the Shenron process, then immediately run towards the Power Key Slot - you're sacrificing a wish for the STM (even if you lose, you'll get big points for both Shenron and STM). If you go to an opposite Area, complete the Shenron process and start fighting the Raider. As you fight, slowly pull the Raider further and further away from the Key Slot - then before your Level 4 is defeated, go into hiding, and sneak back to the Key Slot. +Basically, if a Raider is camping ANYTHING: Ignore them and work in the other areas. If the other areas are finished, then take that time to gather Power Cubes, Dragon Balls, Sodas, etc. A sensible teammate would completely understand you abandoning them if a Raider is camping their body - so. don't. feel. guilty. Just do what you can to ensure victory for the entire team (even if a teammate dies and gets a Bronze Mission Result, they can still get Platinums for Shenron wishes, Raider defeats, and STM Activation). +... I can keep going, but I'll leave it at that.

One helpful tip for cooldown drinks is that their effectiveness actually scales with your change power, getting weaker the higher your dragon change level is. So a normal cooldown drink at dragon change level 1 will give you around 90% dragon change back while only giving back 40% at level 3.

@@ShadowSayain1 You're welcome. This also serves as a good tip to when you need to get back and fight with cooldown drinks and supplies drops. If you're at level 2 and out of change power, chug your cooldown drinks to get back to full charge before getting level 3. Even if you don't get full charge off that, you'll still have more charge than you would if you just get level 3 and then drinking the cooldown drinks. That's why I still believe the cooldown drinks are still the best items in the game even after the nerf, since they can either recover cooldowns slower or faster than before depending on how you use them

Some tips that took a while to learn: If you're going against a raider with ki sensing (2nd form cell up and 3rd form buu up), be careful of hiding in caves when they're around because they can corner you pretty easily. For level 1 dragon change, setting the super to be kaioken assault or wolf fang fist gives you another way to get distance away from the raider (which is really all you should be doing at change level 1). If you have the power key radar just worry about finding the keys, your teammates can set them, it puts a ton more pressure on the raider (similar statement is true for lvl 3 dragon radar). If the raider has a dragon ball, surprise attacking him with a rocket launcher (preferably gold) is the best way to get him to drop it and give you a chance to escape. Even without dragon change, you can punch the raider to make him stop destroying the super time machine temporarily. (Lost too many games where the time machine had 1% left and no-one knew that they could use this to stop him)

Speaking from experience the Kaioken, Wolf Fang tip is not helpful. The start up and recovery for both those moves are way too long. You might as well just keep flying away.
@airorello6290

@@MidnightKingL They're useful if the Raider doesn't have a clear line of sight of you. And flight speed is so slow, that it's actually useless to use Dragon Change as an escape tool. @@MidnightKingL When are you using it? I use it right as my change power is about to run out and it usually helps add even more distance between me and the raider. Yes, while you still have change power left, it is inefficient and you should keep flying but I'd argue it has more utility than any other level 1 super. Getting that extra boost right as my change power runs out gives me an extra second to pull out my bulma bike or use some other escape method.
@MidnightKingL
@MidnightKingL Жыл бұрын
@@jacobcohn6586 I'd argue that only works if there was already a decent amount of distance or obstacles between you and the raider, in which case just about anything works to escape. It didn't matter when I'd use it because the beginning and ending part of the animation gives them plenty of time to shoot you down.

Here's something that I have noticed. Power Keys seemed to have roughly two alternate spawnpoints, though, they may have more or less. An example I took notice to being found within the Mushroom biome. It will consistently always spawn on the highest crate near the tallest Mushroom, above the cave. Which implies that there is a level of consistency to it all.

I wondered how long it would take for people to learn the determined spots for keys, each area has 4 primary spots depending on the spawn location of chest but only 5 preset patterns for chest in each map, (so 2 preset have same key chest) as soon as you load in if you remember which preset your playing the spawn of keys is obvious, I usually get all 5 keys an placements only have 3 different locations for each key so now that I'm lv96 I've remembered all the chest presets with keys and i know if I can so can everyone else 😉

For example the ones Majin Buu transphere has are: at level 1 a burst of ki blasts, his best one tbh it does a shocking amount of damage. At level 2 a single large blast akin to Innocence Cannon, not as strong but it's very big and kinda hard to avoid. At level 3 it's a very thin and kinda mediocre pink kamehameha.

I got the more expensive power A controller and it helps a lot because you can map D-pad buttons to the paddles on the back. *Edit: it's called the Fusion by power A. It's great for things like the grappling hook for when you are trying to get away from the raider because you can still have full control of your character and camera when using it instead of having to let go of one of the joysticks or use another finger to hit the D-pad button you have it assigned to. The controller even lets you assign clicking/pressing in the joysticks as well. They are like 100 bucks but they definitely come in handy so you can still have both thumbs on the joysticks without having to "claw" the controller or hold it weird. Idk if I would get one just for this game, but since a family member got me one as a gift, I love using it with this game as well as many others and can't complain. The cheaper power A controller doesn't let you map the buttons I spoke of and doesn't nearly have as many features.

I have a question, is there a way to make just a little jump instead of a BIG one when we equip the Vehicle Jump Boost ? When I'm being chased by the raider, the time spent in the air is time not using the Turbo to get away from the raider. Also, sometimes, when we use the Dragon Change, there's sometimes a 1/2s animation where our character goes "Alright/let's do this/etc" and we can't act at all. Is there a way to be sure that this animation doesn't happen ?

1) No. All you can do is time and distance things correctly. A) Jump up to the highest point of a ramp your bike can reach to reduce air time. B) Don't jump when going DOWN or ACROSS small gaps - most small gaps can be Turbo'd through. C) Don't jump when going ACROSS big gaps - it's better to just go down and around. 2) The animation happens when you're transforming out of view of the Raider. When the Raider is looking at you: the animation doesn't play.
