What is this Taichi crossed with Kendo? No attacker will ever be remotely this slow.... This is why we use practice weapons so we can get used to full speed without actual danger. No one is going to attack you in slow mo... and you could see the one guy when it was his turn with the daggers he was fumbling against certain moves that were being used slightly faster than the start of the video. This looks more like movie martial arts than actual useful techniques. Too much flair...

Thanks for your comment. This is not a video intending to show real world effectiveness, or to impress random viewers on the internet. This video if aimed at current practitioners and is intended to show the detail of a series of complex principles and applications based on those principles that build upon each other in increasing levels of complexity. The taisabaki is shown at this speed so that the purpose and detail of each movement can be seen and understood. Some martial arts are more complex than a simple attack and a defence.
