Many thanks Kru Mod for all your great lessons. Let me try this exercise. 1). Mother takes the child to eat out only two of them because the father is busy with work. 2). If he agrees to come to live in Thailand, you will meet him. 3). She can contain herself so little when she meets the guy she likes. 4). Don't just talk, better take action. 5). Students from other countries have more advantage than Thai students as it's easier for them to find a job and get higher salary.

I am studying very hard. Only started a few days ago. This will be my 5th language, and I’m an Aussie guy lol, most blokes in my country can’t even speak one..their own 😆, happy I found you Mod, you are very elocute in English which is great. Great lessons. But I don't want people to think I am fluent in Thai when I am not because I think I would mislead them. Having said that, I would like to be able to hold or at least understand a basic conversation in Thai at a dinner table. Plus these ladies are so beautiful, it motivates me to learn.

The message is from the bottom of my heart for teacher and as my opinion for all viewers of this channel . As a person who grew up in Thailand I appreciate the effort she puts in to make learning associative . I grew up speaking and listening to Thai and English so I know how different the semantics and syntax is in both languages. Also literal translation is not possible at all I know as a linguist . 🙏🏻

As a foreigner, Vietnamese also had sounded exactly like Thai to me....

@@gregnathan9830 Yea, that could be because Vietnamese is a Mon-Khmer/austroasiatic language so same origins even if Thai is classified as Kra-dai. Because languages are boundless, they are never truly pure ontologically imo :)

so listening to her voice speaking english it sounds almost a register lower which is more pleasing than the higher pitch in Thai but i guess its just how it is ! i have noticed this for more than 20 years now how high the pitch is especially with young woman Thai speakers... but does it really matter when the girl is this gorgeous L.A Rob

No further explanation or phonetic transcription required for this, just the spoken text also given inThai writing. So maybe you could just read aloud a (school-)book, an article from newspaper or so. For me listening comprehension is by far the most difficult part in Thai language (as soon as you got the basics).

There is no standard when spelling Thai words with English transliteration. The word ครับ is pronounced the "k" with the "rolling R" but in everyday life Thai people often drop the "rolling r" sound when it follows a first consonant. As for the final sound, it is pronounced with close lips - don't let any sound or air come out.
