Hello Balkan, I was wondering if you know how to use custom design wood trusses from SketchUp and use them as families in Revit adding length and height variable parameters. thank you very much in advance

Hi BA, I wonder if it is not possible to produce a better truss-model as a family or nested family... or make the truss in another program like Advance Steel or even Sketchup and copy it back to Revit in order to create a producable element.

Very good. Do you have examples about 3D trusses construction in ReviT? thanks a lot

as for getting the curved line into the truss family via annotate... typical revit.. such a hidden hack for a very common design task. Revit is full of such unintuitive hacks.. like coping to a curved truss. I cant believe that they make simple things so complicated. Its like the Castlevania II Tornado... (AVGN Episode) - but great video man, thanks!
@JohnnyTheCache3 жыл бұрын
btw you CAN cope to the curved beam but guess what.. it requires a hidden hack :D
@amitkale56312 жыл бұрын
@@JohnnyTheCache what hack? please share
@JohnnyTheCache2 жыл бұрын
@@amitkale5631 there are so many hacks, i cant remember them all really. But i think coping curved beams works with the "Opening through surface" tool (i translated this though). Its in the arch/eng top menu bar. Also you can cope it with a void family (what an intuitive function name 😄) Good luck!

Gosh you just need to use attach top to roof. All of your tutorial are waiste of time. "I am not a professional structure engineer but more or less how it's works" This sentense you repeating over and over is geting me nuts. Sorry.

Love your videos but you don't seem to reply to your audience. Very rude. Stop posting videos weekly and listen to your audience. Things will back fire and will search elsewhere for answers. There are tons of great videos on KZbin. Will un subscribe

Doesn't it make more sense for me to make content that benefits everyone, then to spend that time answering individual questions that benefit only that one person?
