Advanced Warehouse Batch item Receiving in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Today we take a look at the setup and process for receiving a batch item using advanced warehouse in Dynamics 365 Finance and operations.
The process is very similar to receiving a non-batch item, but there are a few options for setup on the item.

Hi Scott, I am very grateful to your videos as they are very informative and simple. I noticed in this video that you have an expiration date field under the Batch number field. I searched the entire Internet, but could not find how to enable the expiration date field. Batch tracking / tracking number and FEFO controlled I set, but this field did not appear. I would be very appreciate if you give me some clue what I missed in configurations. Thanks.

Hey Dimitriy, I think that was enabled through the item model group. Take a look at this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqi3lKSJfsesl6c If this doesn't work for you reply here and I'll go back and look to see where it is set.

@@Scott-Gaines Hi Scott, Thanks for your help. The proble was in in the item model group as you said. I had to clear FEFO controlled. (I tried it before) But what I missed was to clear Shelf life period in the Released product. Very appreciate for your response!
