Just to update my post below...I finally received a reply from them. I've been advised that the camera hasn't been released into the European market as yet...they stated that fine tuning and improvements need to made before I can get my hands on one. Hopefully that means that the one I eventually get will have all the bugs sorted out.

I've been using my GoPro H3B as a dashcam for a number of years now, but I want to update to a dedicated camera The DOD LS470W+ seems to tick all the boxes BUT, despite six emails to the company, asking about possible outlets in Bulgaria, NO answer has ever been received. I get the automated message saying uery has been received....bugger all after that!!

I'm sure it is a fine camera, but where is the wifi connectivity to a phone for instant access to videos? Many other dashcams have this feature but DOD seems hell bent on not providing their premium cameras with this simple feature.

Hi Can you tell me what the relationship between DOD and Nextbase..........it appears that the DOD 460 is the same as the Nextbase 512.....this 470 replaced the 460 so does that mean the 470 is better than the Nextbase 512? Also do you know if it's possible to protect a file while viewing a previously recorded clip in the camera?

I bought this camera recently thinking it was going to be really good quality with a sharp image like I saw on the reviews all over KZbin. I was very dissatisfied with the image quality and overall build quality of the unit. Mine was faulty within a week; sent it straight back for a refund; STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Hey Lewis. The quality is pretty decent with this camera if I'm being honest. Could it be that because yours was faulty that was why the quality wasn't great?

As I say; the overall build quality of the unit seemed to be quite low; the plastic felt quite cheap and how recessed the SD card slot was made it awkward getting the SD card in or out. Also when reviewing the footage it was poor quality as I previously said; it was also very laggy; in that it wasn't recording smoothly. My Computer is more than capable to play the high quality video and I knows its not my computer as I play back much higher quality video than this from my GoPro 4 Black series at 4K 60FPS. I honestly would still not buy this unit; the only product I would trust and rely on with certainty is another GoPro as a dash cam.

Advanced In-Car Technologies Strange as it sounds. But all i see is some one blabring alot. But no fotage from this camera. Blabring is not intresting. But unedited fotage taken with the cam is interesting For then ww can see if the camera is good or not The blabber mouth talked about this but there is no video from this camera

Cam review without footage is very strange, can't really see the point. But do not worry, i found lots of channels with good cam review so i find propper review of the cam. Much more detailed than this one, even with footage and comparing. But i liked the review of different settings and shown the difference. You know, like propper review

Ive been using the 460 for 2 years with great success. Main update seems to be the battery life and ISO increase Not sure Ill buy straight away as I'm forever hopeful that GOPRO get a move on and produce something to blow all the competition out of the water

How to protect your file, if I press SOS putton it will record 40 sec. of video and didn't protect the current saved video. Do anybody have same issue? I have LS430 as well and it protects the current file.
