So, with VNet gateway, does that mean we no longer have to create a forwarding VNet to use something like a mapping data flow into something like a managed instance or an IaaS machine? I know without it we needed to have a load balancer, 2 or more NAT forwarding VMs custom port numbers like 1434.....along with a subnet for each resource.

So are environments intended to replace the "1 workspace per environment" principle and if so, has Azure Key Vault been incorporated? I know many folks that use a dynamic dns name to achieve key vault separation.....having a dev/test/prod key vault aligned with a dev/test/prod synapse/fabric workspace.
