There is so much magic going on here. I have no idea how those strange shapes turn into something amazing.

I never get tired of watching your painting process Gary. I’ve seen so many, but each time it’s a chance to revise what you’ve taught us about washes, shapes and edges. Today I realised it takes an artist like you to transform what seems like an alarming mess into a lovely painting that tells a story. I’m now a little less afraid to cover the paper with strong wet paint as I know it fades so much. Thank you once again.

Thx Barbara - there is something special gained after many years and miles of paper… i dont think there is any other way

I think that this was one of the first paintings I did in your virtual video class, and felt totally overwhelmed at the time because your talent made it look so easy. But for me it was not so easy. Now after having studied with you for a year and a half, I will try this again, becauseI have learned so much from you. We all appreciate your gifts and your willingness to share them.

I learned so much from you! I have applied everything I've learned and now my paintings are so much better technically and because of this I feel more inspired to paint more abstractly.

That's a very steep angle to put the board. Why do you do that? Would that be more difficult to control the flow ?
@GaryTuckerArtist2 жыл бұрын
I like to see the painting strait on - plus it is easier to film a this angle... Lots more content here www.gumroad.com/garytuckerartist

Am I confused, or there are some words missing at the beginning of the video?

Does anyone know what paper he uses? In another video, he put in the discription Saunders Waterford, but in the comment section someone asked him what paper he used and it was arches rough. I just bought Saunders rough, but I’m not seeing the same results…
