Cooling arrangements is easy, because we are supplying dc current so that less loss I2r loss less, because of that heating in winding is less 2) in rotating armature I2r loss is more because of that heat in winding is also more to dissipation of heat more space is required because of that reason size is more

1. Colling is easy in Roataing Feild 2 bulky - It is more produce heat and Use in big Rotor , Insulation more , cooling is not easy because using oil and it's need 2 slipring for 1 phase , and 3 phase need 4 slip ring
