By using tile on tile adhesive u can install the tiles on old chip tiles else you can remove old and can install new tiles.

For washroom wall you can go with Ceramic tiles and for Flooring I can go with Vitrified Antiskid either satin or matt finish. For flooring no need to use Adhesive. For wall if u use Vitrified tiles then only I have to go with Adhesive , for Ceramic base tiles u can install with Cement.

U can use Vitrified tiles on wall. But no need to use Vitrified tiles for wall purpose. Vitrified tiles are Specially made for floor purpose, wherever Strength and load bearing capacity requires there u can use Vitrified tiles

Should we use spacers in wood looking tiles ( 145 x 600 mm) in bedroom. If yes what should be the size of spacers.

145x600mm tiles are made by cutting 600x600mm tiles, and 145x600mm plants should be lay in zig zag patter ,then only it give elegance. When u lay these size planks No doubt u will bend in tiles ,there is Technical reason as tiles always have some positive curvature at the center. So should lay with spacers at least 2-3mm is recommended

Uday sir, Quantity of Epoxy depends upon how much spacer (gap in mm) kept between the tiles and size and thickness of the tiles as well. Prices of Epoxy Grouting change as per location,brand and your purchasing Quantity . Please let me know the size that uses with spacers width,then I can give u the Tentative Quantity

Singh Saab, always prefer spacers to avoid variation. Bade size ke tiles me variation jyada ane ka chance hota hai. It is highly recommended to use spacers for bigger size like 2x4.

Absolutely not. Installing tiles with spacers requires no extra effort whatsoever and hence he cannot charge extra for this. If he is charging extra, that means he wasn't planning to grout the tiles at all. There are some low end tile installers in market today who simply put mortar behind tile and think their work is done. Get quotation from someone else.

Really helpful content.. just wanted to know I am facing same problem for design tiles which is made by tile A and tile B... so what your opinion, it will be good to add 2mm spacer between them or as its design tiles which are made by combining A and B tiles so it should be without spacer..? Please respond as soon it can be.. bcoz work is in progress and need to take decision.

Aggarwal Sir, it is highly recommend to lay the tiles with Spacers irrespective of combination and Desigsn, as I have made two videos about advantages of using Spacers in tiles( please go through once) , If you don't want use spacers then ask your tile meson to follow the instructions printed on tiles box to the tiles like before laying tiles have to be inspected properly , firstly has to lay on dry mock up to check for any kind of Variation and have to install the tiles according to the Arrow ( u can find arrow mark on back side of tiles), if found any kind of Variation like in size, daigibal , rectangular and Specially bend on dry mock up then should go for Spacers if don't find any major Variations u can lay the tiles without spacers. Generally tile mesons don't follow the proper menthod, u strictly ask then to inspect the tiles before final fixing of tiles

They don't take advice from home owner regarding installation procedure either because they think their way of installation is the best. So the only option is for the home owner himself to be an expert and make the installer follow his instructions or do the installation himself.
