Gonna be honest, having the Dalek suddenly staring at the camera when it was previously staring at the back of Dan's head is mildly terrifying despite the fact I know it's a prop. I always forget Polly Pocket originally and has gone back to the small sizes for the compact style playsets. I still fondly remember playing with the version where the doll was about 2.5 inches tall (my favorite set was the mall one with the escalator) I will give them credit for keeping it articulated at such a small size. Bonus points is that it’s so small I don’t think the grass masks can attach itself to Polly

Brio was indeed founded in Sweden by Swedes, but they have been owned by German jigsaw puzzle legends Ravensburger since 2015. I wonder if Ravensburger themselves do any Advent calendars, where you end up with a 24-piece jigsaw puzzle that's somehow missing pieces?

They do escape room advent calendars, so they must do a decent puzzle one! A cousin had a bad one with a tiny jigsaw each day but the quality was so poor that after the first week I’m not sure she bothered (until the big final one)

The Outer Banks is a large beach area on the coast of North Carolina that's made up of peninsulas and islands separated from the main land by sounds and inlets. It's famous for being a very popular vacation and tourist spot, it's many lighthouses, the herds of wild mustangs, and also it's where the Wright Bros flew their plane. Also Blackbeard headquartered there. The Netflix show is based there, but not filmed there

I've never seen the Outer Banks TV show because I haven't subscribed to Netflix in about 3 or 4 years but the the show is named after the Outer Banks which are a barrier island chain forming most of the outer coast of North Carolina (and extending up a little bit over the state border into Virginia). Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, which has the beach where the Wright Brothers flew their first airplane, is a town on the Outer Banks just below the Virginia Border.
