The little minis are so colorful, just beautiful! I haven't a clue what I would do with all those skeins. Arne and Carlos are doing a KAL Christmas stocking advent calendar. We knit six rows per day. It is so much fun. The project is so fascinating to see how the patterns are developing.

Hey Juan 😊 my mom is turning 95 tomorrow and I’m busy finishing the border on her blanket for her bed. She is in long term care in a wheelchair like your mom. She’s not able to bear weight anymore and with her age she likes a good nap in the afternoon so I used loops and threads soft and shiny in her favourite blue. I’m the summer I like to crochet her summer shawls in cotton or cotton and bamboo. They are light but give her a little coverage in case a cool breeze. Those mill ends look perfect for that kind of project. Take care my friend and enjoy your new yarnie goodness 😊 ah that pink cotton is beautiful. Hi Juan, I have cotton cakes too, but if you look at the label it can be 100% cotton or a blend. Most of my cakes are not two of the same, but pretty colors. I'm not sure what to do with them, so looking forward to any ideas. Love heathers, too ! 😊😎

Herrschners is so near and dear for me! As a 7yr old in the 60's my Grandma was teaching me to crochet. I so cherished my time with her. As a little older she CD would get their catalogs and perused through them together as we picked out our yarn for our next projects. 5.5 generations later, I still use Herrschners. I just came across Herrschners Supreme worsted yarn. It's sooo soft! The yarn has a beautiful sheen to it's color. I wish I had bought more than I did for a Christmas project. It comes in a wide variety of colors and I think will be grear for beanies. I just have to go back for more. Juan if you haven't tried it, you should even if it's a couple of skeins.

I do a personal charity project every year.Though I have never used my crochet for one in 2024 I am making beanies for the homeless of Cleveland, the Donestic women's.shelter here or the Covent House for runaway teens. I haven'tdecided which yet. Just think how many hats I make between next week and through until this time next year! Usually Cleveland winters ade so cold.

I have recently fallen in love with fingering and sock yarns. That battenberg blanket is GORGEOUS! I think that will be perfect for the random sock yarns I have been collecting. I recently got some Puzzle shimmer in a mystery box…it is the red one…it is GORGEOUS! Now I’m going to have to get some of that puzzle cotton too! In another mystery box I got some Barcelona yarn. It’s older, but is exactly the same almost of the puzzle yarn. Do you remember the Barcelona yarn, Juan? I think it was Michael’s exclusive. I am a pink lover. I also love orange. I’d love to receive your pink “garbage” yarn. Lmao

Hi Juan, I ordered 6 each of the 2 colors of the Cinnamon Swirl cakes. I have no idea if they're coming or not... About a week after I ordered, I checked and it looked like they had run out, but a few days ago I got an email that my order had shipped - but it still has no tracking beyond the label having been created... 😬😬😬 The suspense is killing me! 😬😬😬 Those mill end cakes are gorgeous, and lucky you, you got some sparkly!!! I ordered several packs earlier this year, and no sparkle...😢😢😢 But they are still beyond gorgeous, and I lucked into several multiples! Have a great day. 🐞

Herrschners Heathers yarn is softer than their worsted. That said, I'm also a big fan of all Herrschners brand yarns. In the warm months, I tend to work on small projects like hats to donate the following winter. I try to knit 100 child hats each year for the local school district.

I have bought numerous times the mill end cakes from Hershners and I now have 6 skeins of the blue that you received. I use both cakes together to make shawls and it works up nicely. Mine usually has knots in it.
