You drove thru my home town, im 60 and spent much of my time exploring MT.I still haven't seen it all, and I get into way more remote areas than you went, time in Idaho too.We have 100.s of lakes and the ones high in the mountains are so pristine, few of those you can drive to but majority hike in.Spent time in remote fly in areas of AK also.

I moved from East Texas to Libby..mid winter....this will be my first summer up here ..work towards Sandpoint right now..that drive is amazing....if u are ever back this way .Found some amazing places waterfalls etc ...
