Oh wow..so many things happened in your life and on your channel since I travelled to Europe!! I feel so sorry you couldn't do this trip but honestly you made some great experiences lately and by that you already showed us that it is possible to live our dreams even with chronic illness!! It's so important to listen to our bodies and I think you made the right choice. Part of knowing our bodies is to know its limits and not crossing them is being mindful and respectful with ourselves! And..doing 15 days of hiking is still pretty amazing! I hope you will get better soon! Sending you positive energy

mari sa thank you so much for such thoughtful meaningful words - it truly means so much to my heart. Listening to our bodies is the hardest thing, but also the most essential. How was your travels to Europe? How’d your body do? How’re you feeling? Sending you so much light & love ❤️🙏

I am still in Europe, staying at my mother's house and it's great! I love being here with my family even if this goes along with some challenges and a few bed days..but it's definitely worth it! I was sooo afraid of the flight but it went really well, I stress dosed a lot for it tbh. Thanks for sharing your experience with travelling..it helps me understanding my own health issues and how to deal with them! Always greatful for being able to reach out to you!! Sending you hugs

I'm so sorry to hear you had to postpone your trip, but hey, that's just what life is like sometimes, you have to listen to your body, and hopefully you will feel much better soon so that you can still make it for that last stretch. I'm crossing my fingers for you! I'm gonna take on a bit of a challenge myself too. Since I am switching meds (and I know my body is gonna go crazy) I'm changing my usual exercise regimen into a low intensity 30 days of yoga challenge. Hopefully I'm not over ambitious - it's max 30 minutes a day - but I'm really gonna try my best to do this. Wish me good luck :) Namaste

MrsHjort thank you so much for your love and support! As far as the 30 days go - you’ve got this! Yoga has been such a healing tool for me and I am so happy your giving it a go! Remember the 30 minute mark and don’t burn yourself out. I’m a big fan of yin, restorative and hatha yoga. All do great for my body. Sending so much light & love ❤️🙏

Right back at you, thank you for being so responsive and helpful! It's so nice to have found somebody that I can level with, that is so supportive and simply a really nice person. You rock Vanessa! I'm Natalie btw :). I totally agree about yoga. How long have you been doing it? I've been doing it for about half a year now and the control it brings me is so helpful. Since my first big symtom was shortness of breath (and it continues to be one of the most annoying ones) I especially find the focus on the breathing helpful - it brings you that extra awareness, even when you're not on the mat. It's also so great for the posture and the joints. But I'm preaching to the choir now haha :). Anyway, I found this 30 day yoga challenge on KZbin, and all of the clips have a maximum length of 30 min, so that's gonna be my ticket. Namaste, light and love!

MrsHjort MrsHjort 😭🥰🙏 just the sweetest message ever! Thank you Natalie! I started practicing in high school, but did my first hatha 200 hour training in 2013. I’ve taken multiple trainings since then and just love adding new tool boxes to my practice. For me it’s been such a grounding and constant state of support for my nervous system and my breath. Taking time to center on the mat has been essential for my life. So excited for your next yoga journey! Keep me posted as always! Light & love ❤️🙏

I actually practiced a bit in upper secondary school, but that was quite long ago (15 years or so). I had to stop though because got into it a bit too fast and did it a bit too vigorously. It messed up my back a bit. Basically I got real flexible real quick and my muscles couldn't keep up, so my spine started locking up. My physiotherapist told to stay away from yoga then, now I regret not getting back to it sooner (much sooner), but hey, at least I'm back :) (and taking it slower this time). I had forgotten how great it is. I love how much you can adapt it to your own ability and how you're feeling each day. It's just perfect for people like us, or anybody really. Anybody who leads a modern life could do with a bit of grounding :) Namaste

I hope you feel better soon! Dont second guess yourself. You did the right thing for yourself and your health. Sending you positive vibes. I have a question which is completely off topic. When you started your meds, did you gain any weight? Have cravings? I feel like I either crave salt or sugar. Im typically a very healthy eater. I cannot manage my weight and are gaining weight in my lower body. Any advice you have, I would be grateful 🙏🏻

Christie McKeown thank you so much for your kind words! Just taking it a day at a time and letting the body do its thing. As far as weight gain goes - it fluctuates for me. I come and go from about 15 pounds five or take if it’s near my cycle. I crave a lot of salt, but not sugar so much. I eat mostly AIP and predominantly smoothies and raw salads and root veggies so not a lot of carbs in that category. That’s just my own person journey, but everyone’s body is so unique and different. Sending you so much light and love ❤️🙏

I was wondering if you had over planned but you are young so I thought maybe you could.

rae1957tn definitely over did it. The trying thing is that I didn’t plan the China trip - that was a last minute contest we won, so it just so happened to be 5 days before my backpacking adventure. Ordinarily I never would put two epic journeys so back to back, but as it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, we had to go for it. Now I just rest and hope I can bounce back in time to still go. Sending light & love ❤️🙏
