I have a DRZ and had a T7. The DRZ won. What I mean by that is the DRZ suited my riding style better, so I offloaded the T7. I hadn't even hit 1000 miles on it when I decided "nope, not for me. Too Big and HEAVY"

Apt title for the vid! I currently own both a DRZ and a T7 and each serve their categorical moniker perfectly. Dual Sport and ADV. When I'm trying ride actual trails it's the DRZ always! Both engines have a similar willingness to do seemingly any conceivable thing you ask of them. GOAT machines for sure!

Drz is better on tight single track. T7 better everywhere esle. Had/have both.

That was kinda wild and had me thinking. How hard do you go? I mean you don't want to lose control and faceplant into a tree. Do either one of you have any experience at racing dirt bikes? I have a couple guys I know that are older. They use to race motocross but Im not sure they would be powersliding thier bikes going up that gravel road. I personally wouldn't go hard through that.

I'm just over the pond from Canada... there is no temperature here... 0 degrees F lol. I am suiting up for the 1 hour commute to work on the KLR650.

The KLR didn't agree with the conditions. Slow crank, no traction to push start it.... had to drive a truck today 🫨

The answer to that question depends on how hard each bike is ridden or not

Different bikes with different strengths and weaknesses….try riding the DRZ on the highway for a couple of hours

I totally understand your point, but will say With my Seat Concepts seat I ride the DRZ on huge highway rides. Check out my WABDR video!
