Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) Bike Route Navigator digital map app overview

This is an overview of the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) Bike Route Navigator digital map app overview. I used it in conjunction with the corresponding paper map on my most recent trip and found it beneficial to have both. Paper for the initial planning of the route and while on the ride reviewing the next day's ride and the digital version to calculate distance and climb remaining while riding the route.

Do you use a gps unit as well or are you comfortable just using the ACA app?

I also download the google maps ahead of time for offline use. I like the ACA digi maps because I can drop a couple pins when on the day’s ride and find out how many miles & elevation are remaining.
