Adventure Day In Watamu Kenya / Wakeboard, Snake Farm, Tuk-Tuk & Food

Today, we are waking up extra early in Watamu, Kenya and teaming up with the ‪@WhereNextFamily‬ for a day PACKED with adventures.
First stop, Mida Creak for a little bit of morning wakeboarding on perfectly calm water. We were all close to be first time wakeboarders but we did pretty good overall, thanks to Tribe Watersports.

From there we went to Gecko Resort Watamu for a little brunch. Pretty good, especially for 800ksh.
If you know us well, then you are aware that Tracey is EXTREMELY scared of snakes. But thanks to peer pressure, she agreed to gather all her courage and come with us to the Watamu Snake Farm. She did pretty good.
Finally we decided to finish the day the best way possible by getting some delicious gelato at Amici Miei Café. I had pizza because well... It's better!

I really, really don't like snakes but they have a place here, too. They are scary but fascinating and I follow a channel called Living Zoology who went to that snake farm also. I think that farm does snake rescues in the area. And milk the venomous ones for making anti-venom. Nice trip, nice video - as always 😁 Good to see you enjoying with friends 👍 Edit: Living Zoology is a Czech zoologist couple who travel and make stunning wildlife videos. I think even a Dave Mani would agree with that:-) They have done quite a few in Kenya and particularly in coast. - And I was more surprised than I wanted to be to find out that where you are (and where I am), in the mangroves of Mtwapa, Kilifi and Watamu there are actually ...... black mambas 😖 I highly recommend their channel about any wildlife but for us the Kenyan videos are particularly relevant ....

Hey Dave, Curious on how difficult it was to obtain a permit for flying your drone in Kenya. I have brought mine on previous trips with no issues but had it confiscated in November upon arrival. Fortunately they gave it back to me when leaving the country.
