18:16 - "I'm just going pick Let's Date. You can do what you want." Not necessarily true! When I played this, the "Let's get married" option was marked as "(locked)". The way I think it goes (and I haven't tested this) is that the more hearts you have with a character, the more options are available: at a guess, 0 hearts is "Let's hang out" only, 1 heart unlocks "Let's be great friends", 2 hearts unlocks "Let's date", and 3+ hearts unlocks all 4 options. Could be wrong... like I said, haven't tested this yet... But I reckon that's right. So if you want to have every option, you need to focus on your chosen character from the start. Xia is the exception; given that you can never take her as a companion you can never build hearts with her, and that she's not officially a contestant, you're probably not meant to think of her as an option (well, except for the massive hints dropped along the way). Basically, she's the "easter egg" ending, and because she was already into you before this whole thing started, she basically acts like she had full hearts right from the start, so you get every option unlocked. ...That might also be why she didn't actually show up in the private conversation for you, maybe they forgot that was a possibility? Who knows!

Hello, hi, I'm not sure if you mean narratively "why is the lock combination on the bottle", or if you mean you haven't understood AU's explanation of the puzzle. If it's the former, it's because this is the family vineyard, the bottle is a bottle they make, and the label has the coded combination because the family likes puzzles. That doesn't make any sense when you think about it... The "puzzle" doesn't have a solution without the lock, and printing the security code to your valuable product and giving it out to everyone who buys one is a ridiculous notion... But it's par for the course for these games, just go with it. If you mean you didn't understand App Unwrapper's explanation, let's take it from the top. We have a 4 digit lock. For each of the 4 tumblers, if you spin it around, you'll notice that one of the digits has been painted red, and another has been painted white. Meanwhile, we have the bottle label, a grid of characters, with the left-most column being white numbers 1 to 4, and the top row being red numbers 1 to 9. What we have here is a co-ordinate system. For each pair of red and white numbers on a tumbler, you come to the wine label, find the cell that is below the red number and across from the white number, and that's what you need to put in. So, for example, if you had a white 2 and a red 8, you'll look across the second row (with the white 2 on the left side) until you reached the next-to-last column (with the red 8 at the top). That cell contains an 8, so that tumbler would need to be set to 8. So you do that for each of the dials... find the white and red numbers, come to the wine bottle to find the relevant cell, then go back to the lock and set that number... for each of the four dials. Presto - the lock is open. I hope that helps!
