As a photographer (me) I must say I have noticed a big improvement on your drone clips. They are now more and more cinematic and have a good speed; allowing us to see the vastness of where you are... the beauty of it all. dude! This is great improvement. You will notice that shooting a drone video away from the sun produces better videos than shooting while facing the sun... Now add a few things; show us your gear, what you pack for such trips, how you sleep in the camps, what you cook, etc etc... Good job and may God grant you the desires of your heart. Cheers!!

Since you are doing masinga dam, this is the time to cover the 7 folk dams at this time when they are spilling with water. take us to each of the 5 dams, show us the beautiful mighty spills that are happening now when there is heavy rain. Masinga is one of the dams so that's covered the rest are Kamburu is the second, Gitaru is the third, Kindaruma is the fourth and Kiambere is the last. I have seen a few video clips and the spills are amazing. Tell us the history of each dam. With drone shots this would make an epic video. Any youtuber worth their game would race to capture these dams and film the magical spills. I posted this on here because you have a series on dams from Lake Baringo to now this and thought you would make the best coverage as this one. This coverage is cinematic and makes you fill you are there on the journey as you take us through the roads and pathways closeup on how to get there.

Hey, thanks for the suggestions. Most of the hydroelectric generation points usually prohibit filming. Getting permits is usually a lengthy process. And it could cost close to 30K The best you can get is a video of the spillway from a distance. I'll visit all the dams soon. But the full features of the hydro electric processes and the dam wall + spillways will have to wait until this channel generates enough revenue to pay for the permits.

Spectacular views.. especially by the dam ... however you could have saved precious time and lots of fuel if you could have made proper use of your drone to scan the nearest viable route to the dam just like birds eye view.. Google map wont tell you of broken bridge or unused routes

Wonderful concept and video. These are some of the areas that people wonder how they would visit. Additional would add great value; for example, that Masinga Dam is the greatest man-made lake in East and Central Africa, that the Dam was built and is operated by TARDA, which would explain the sparse settlement, that the dam is intended for irrigation and power generation, etc. By coming up with this vlog, I guess you are creating awareness on the potential of this area for tourism, farming and other economic activities if the infrastructure was improved. Keep up.

Good point. I support. We hardly see him relax and take in the sights at his destinations. It'd also be better if he gives a sneak peek of his sleeping arrangements. Driving all through is somehow monotonous. That notwithstanding, we enjoy the videos and the unique insights into alternative destinations.

Wow. masinga is so beautiful and huge. These sites should be tourists sites. Also have boat rides, fishing, water sports etc. Thank you for this you are showing us a part of Kenya many of us never seen. Also your tenacity to find the place at all cost was impressive. Inlcuding the close up shots of your driving making it feel we are part of the ride. Driving through road paths was adventurers. Good work brother, only that the journey took a better part of the video than the actual dam exploration. Otherwise you're doing a great job, taking us to places we would otherwise never have made it to . I've always read about the dam in the books but never had an opportunity to actually set my eyes on it. Now I know. Please continue showing us around this beautiful country of our and hopefully beyond the borders 👍👍.

This place will always be home,,,,am proud to have got the chance to grow up here..the old good days,,,,,i must admit though i hated the place back then,,,,as as a akid i used to wonder why are we living in such a remote area.with only one bus to and from nairobi you must have seen somewhere in kwandolo it was on its way from nairobi. I never used ride in it because i did not have alot of relatives to visit in nairobi but seeing it everyday always gave me hopes of geting out of that place. And it also used to give us free rides to school on surtadays ...kikule secondary school was where i was shaped. I wish i could go back in time and enjoy the serene environment as a little village girl with nothing to worry about.

Nice. I was just near this dam back in February this year on a survey project at Kamaimba Primary School. The route to this area is an adventure itself. Haha! We also got lost along the way but thanks to the locals who were very helpful and friendly. Most routes are yet to be mapped by Google Earth which makes it more fan and challenging at the same time. That road needs works to make it more motorable in all weather. If it rains when you are there, you are very likely to spend a night against your wish.
