Adventure Island Vlog 9th July 2020

Join us as we continue our week long England road trip and make our yearly visit to the wonderful Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea, Essex
I absolutely adore this small seaside amusement park and have visited many times over the years but this was definitely the quietest visit I’ve ever had, so much so that there just wasn’t any atmosphere around the park but saying that we got on plenty on rides
Adventure Island is a such a bright and colourful place which is home to 5 coasters including the awesome Rage, Green Scream and Barnstormer plus the park is home to many flat rides including the crazy in-house built Time Machine and the new SBF Visa Axis
Vlog and on ride povs are all film in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 Black with official accessories, please note that filming of any kind is banned and needs permission from park management

wow cool video i would love to go to adventure island one day they have some cool rides axis looks stunning if i ever go there that would be the first ride i will go on i love thrill rides my other favorite rides are the dragons claw the american whip fireball vortev and time machine those rides ar my favrites

It's name is Archelon and I think it is a turtle from when dinosaurs were around and we need to make a new thing all about the Banta Swing

Simon MacDonald Coaster Crazy takeover lol 😝 to be honest tho it’s a park that is way more enjoyable with more people as it always has a great atmosphere, because it was so quiet it just felt so odd....don’t get me wrong we all love a quiet park for getting on the rides but Adventure Island is probably the best small amusement park for atmosphere

Came here yesterday, I went on rage and axis for the first time and I was surprised that rage made me more dizzy then axis did! They were both very fun and I’m glad I went on them! Do you plan to come back here in 2022?

This is one of my favourite theme park for many reasons, lovely walk by the sea side, food prices are reasonable and you have Tesco and Sainsbury’s local within five minutes of walking, cheap ticket, even on a busy day the queue time is nothing like other places, facilities are great and it’s open till late at times. I have noticed that you skipped the water slide, may be it was closed due to the current restrictions. Loved your video, to the point and good camera coverage and hardly any back ground music. All in all you have a new subscriber. Keep it up 👍

Don’t listen to the stupid people in the comments Andy. Thank god Adventure Island looks relatively normal, and you don’t require face nappies for rides. I never understood why Alton Towers make you wear a mask on the rides whilst you social distance despite standing toe to toe in the queue lines 🤔

Andy do you know if it's wristband only or can you buy tokens/ pay per ride? We only want to go on a couple rides. But not sure if they do tokens ect. Can't see anything online

Jason Lawrance I’m sure they used to do tokens but think it’s just wristbands now, remember when you book online it’s cheaper and if you go after 6pm it’s half price

Putting Adventureville down as either a coaster or a dark ride is probably the toughest decision i'll have to make today. Rage is the last eurofighter on my list and it certainly looks one of the best

Lift Hills and Thrills Adventureville is a bit of both tbh and you could class it as a powered indoor coaster rather than a dark ride because at the end of the day if they wanted a dark ride they could have put it on a different type of track but then it would be very similar to Spooksville their ghost train

Hi Andy I love watching your vlogs but this has to be the most negative video I have watched remember the times we are in there's not many people at any park I really value your opinion above most on KZbin because you are the most real but really please stop being so negative saying only 3 on this ride 3 on that ride it may put people off going to the park and yes you have had good things to say as well remember these places need building up not putting down . david thompson funny how you say that about not many people here because of the times yet we went to Towers and Thorpe a couple of days early and both parks were busy considering the price they charge and the times they close, I wasn’t being negative just haven’t seen the place so quiet in the many times I have visited in the past, thanks for your comment tho much appreciated
