Waking up with Ruby and a cup of coffee. Life is good. Ruby has the perfect demeanor and voice to review these units. ❤

Hi Ruby, very nice layout for two travelers, unless there are seatbelts in the dining area. I looked up the engine specs and it is a well powered V-6 engine. Thank you for nice presentation always!

Great video. I appreciate you always mentioning the ground clearing and OCCC. At 1:39, it seems to have the Starlink antenna. The rig needs to be four-season and off-grid. If the quality stands, it should be a fantastic campervan.

Always point out the amenities in the cockpit. If it has Adaptive Cruise Control that is the best feature in traffic and stop and go traffic is the number 1 use.

Nice upgrades from Ekko including suspension mods. Although Winnebago quality can be sketchy, this is a Thor product and that will be a negative for many.

Jayco's answer to the Winnebago Ekko? I like this one, probably a lot cheaper than the Ekko.
@billredding200010 ай бұрын
Not "a lot cheaper" but yes, technically it's cheaper: This Granite Ridge (Ford Transit chassis/gas engine) "starts at" $204,300 and the 2 Winnebago's EKKO models "starts at" $207,707 (Ford Transit chassis/gas engine) and $235,738 (MB Sprinter chassis/diesel engine). But yes, you save $3,407 getting the Jayco/Transit vs. the Winnebago/Transit...that'd buy quite a few gallons of gas. ;-) -- BR

Thanks @@billredding2000 appreciate the feedback. I guess that amount is more or less negligible when spending that much money.
@billredding200010 ай бұрын
@@OG785 And, since the Jayco and Winnebago versions are almost the same price, you need to determine which brand is the better-built/quality one...not to mention which brand offers the better warranty. That's a good way to "break the tie" if you will deciding which one to buy -- that'd be Step #2. Step #1 is coming up with $200K+ somehow. I looked under my couch cushions but am a tad short of that amount, so sadly, it's a "no can do" for me. :-( -- BR

Great video Ruby…..is the water capacity really 53 gal? Wow….and are there seatbelts at the dinette? Also wondering if the dinette can convert to a small 48” long bed?

Best price and value:Ekko or granite ?

A quarter of a mill for that? It has about 30 sq. ft. of floor space.

Where did you get 250k? And the rv industry still plays games with msrp. Expect to pay 30-40% under msrp.

Wow, Jayco states Starlink is standard on all 2024s, but showing a $5000+ option! Even buying the most expensive mobile setup is about $2500! Average is about $500! Love to know where the other $2500+ is coming from! Certainly not labor for the install! Nothing on battery power/inverter!?

With your official "press" badge/credentials, you look like you work there -- maybe as a side gig (!) you could sell one of those pricey RVs and make a hefty commission! I mean you're THERE anyway, so may as well make a "little something" for your efforts. ;-) -- BR
