The octane rating of the fuel has absolutely nothing to do with the energy value! The octane rating value is determined by the fuel's resistance to detonation!

You're right, but higher octane fuels in an engine designed for them will produce more power, because they can achieve a higher compression ratio due to the resistance to detonation.

I've always brought octane booster, stabil and some stp treatment for removing water from fuel .

the 201 looks like a 70/30 tyre based on the tread coverage. A 50/50 will have deeper and further spaced grooves.

I love the series! Great stuff! I know Lyndon is shooting GoPro but what is he shooting off the bike scenes with, GoPro as well? Gearing up for a 3000 mile ride and want to document the adventure for my scrap book. Sorting video gear out. Would love to know. Thanks!

You don't have to be in Uzbekistan. I had to cross Idaho on 81 octane.

Great series, though in my opinion the volume of the voices are to low in compare with the music, especially the "storyteller's" voice, but maybe not everyone share this opinion.
