The DL shields post-nerf simply aren’t the nearly invincible barrier they used to be if you ran INT. They now scale off of STR, can only be clicked once per turn for a fixed cost of 392 SP, rendering them ineffective for all INT based builds unless you’re a Hybrid. I’d like to test them out again sometime if I decide to try a Hybrid build, but for now they’re effectively useless for me.

This really helped! Purple rain is also good for farming tranquility points with the kindred set. Just start the battle by casting the spell, then focus till you're almost dead. Then recast it, and it's like nothing happened, except you keep all tranquility points!

​@@danieldieni3188just use your common golden gift boxes on experience, you can buy experience gold etc. I think you'll find in your situation 20$ will easily get you to 150 with some to spare.

The dragonlord shield reminds me a synergy of gandolphin + barrier. Try to cast gandolphin with Generalist's Robe, imbue with lore, u ll then get about 1200-1500 mana shield, after that, click the dragonlord shield for the barrier, u ll find that the the barrier combined into the mana shield and mp:hp cost will be different

Tempest will hit energy melee but use charisma stats for mages using charisma weapons. No need to change builds for warring. The DL shields get lucky strikes. Guarantee that with Dragonguard and click for higher HP barrier. Use ferocious frostval crown for thousands of HP barrier. I know thats not all F2P but pointing it out for those who may not know. Also, gandolphin + DL shield stacks crazy.

@@TransparentlyDuplicitous For sure, but you will be doing enough damage srtill to be winning in about the same number of turns as with warriors. It's almost not worth it to switch. Also, the water charisma weappon that was released somewhat recentky during TlaPD info subs never mentioned a decreased damage, but that might be implied. IDK. I have used this setup with tempest with great success. 1-2 rounds and dead, just like when I tried it with a warrior build. Just a touch more 1 round wins but not worth it to switch just for a war for me. Also you just switch to dunamis. I have all of that stuff including the energy booster pet, so its no big deal to switch it out.

@@TransparentlyDuplicitous I know the difference between a melee weapon and a magic weapon. I'm telling you I know that switching to a warrior and using a melee weapon is going to be more damage for sure but what I'm saying is most monsters you can still kill them in one to two rounds with tempest even using a charisma weapon. I'm saying it's not appreciably faster. this means that you don't have to change builds just to war and you can do other things besides that too if you get bored with it without having to constantly change your build. I almost never just sit there and war. But I will participate every now and then depending on the war. I usually do a variety of things no matter what when I play and even as fast as my stat trainers are on my estate it's still not worth it to switch simply to war in my opinion. I am kind of an item hoarder and I can switch to pretty much any build at any time it's just that with tempest and charisma weapons in testing I have found it's not really appreciably different as far as the number of rounds it takes to kill a monster even though switching to a warrior build and using a melee weapon is doing more damage for sure

@@TransparentlyDuplicitous For those hell bent on doing nothing all day but warring, more power to them with the use of their time, it might be worth it. For others who want to occasionally hop in and war without having to change their build from a mage vbariant to a warrior variant just to get some quick kills, they can just use a charisma weapon and get quick kills almost as fast...and they don't have to switch builds and equipment much and they can go about their normal gameplay, and lives. All I am saying is it isn't necessary to switch to a warrior variant just to get thousands of kills over hours of gameplay. I guess for those who think thats important to them, I understand. But again, it isn't necessary, even if a touch slower than if they switched.Tempest may still be the fastest way for mages who do not desire to change builds if they simply use a charisma weapon. Thats all.

can you make more theme oriented guide's ?. personally i can't find 1 guide on how to get good Katana's for level 70+ that doesn't cost thousand's of T-tokens and Chatgpt says there is the fierce dragonlord katana and all kinds of others but shes always incorrect about either how to get them or which version of adventure quest their in. i'm in crisis here i want ninja, samurai and martial artist type weapons and armor the only thing i have of that kind are level 70 fist weapons from the martial artist mountains location and the beasts cunning "The water type samurai armor" and honestly as powerful as it is the esthetics of it and its attacks disappoint me. P.S. my Character is a Level 80 Female Named Kaoru The Killer" and her stats are 150 strength and 250 Luck or 290 Luck if i activate a Misc Item, i have the Level 75 "Lords Tenure" Armor And ALL My Weapon's Are Fist weapons that do 11-33 Damage.

Aesthetics and practical effects dont go hand in hand for this game. Generally there's only the typical recommendations for useful items but I understand not everyone will like the aesthetics of it. Personally I go for practicality over looks. I would not spend too much time looking for good items at your level since they would be replaced rather quickly when you level up. It would be better for you to level to max first then start to work out your gear

@@KorribanGaming thanks i appreciate the swift reply, btw the only armor i have thats above level 45 is Like i said Lords tenure the fancy 4-hit golden plate armor you get from Alnaphar. i bring this up because aside from beasts cunning and lords tenure all my armor's are Very under leveled. i apolagise if its annoying asking more or less the same question a second time but surely there's some kind of armor i could add to my Sparse collection ?.

i just decided to change class from berserker to mage, already changed my stat as well to DEX, INT and LUCK only, I'm currently lvl 48 and now my mage is doing melee every attack, how can i fix this? much appreciated for the answers.

You no longer need DEX, you can consider running END or CHA as your third stat. Use a magic weapon rather than a melee weapon

The armour is interesting to me for having bunch of unique skills, first of all the +105 initiative bonus, second is the status potence toggle of ALL outgoing status (20 sp only), I think this is quite gd for any status inflict playstyle

This game is finely starting to pick up again, and the fun part of playing it, isn't the game, but the name calling. This is really sad when a game devolves like this. I know Korriban well enough that I never seen him cheat when playing this game. It might be fun watching this accusation vid. on Korriban, then I want to see his side of the story. I only called someone out for what I felt like cheating just once, but had to retract, because it really is possible to beat a monster with 0 hp your character, 0 hp for the monster. If someone is accusing someone of cheating like Korriban for drama, without any proof, I'd unsubscribe from them, if I did. Then I'd boycott ever watching anymore of their vids. until I hear a sincere apology. ☹
