This is awesome. How did you put together the trail? Trying to find a trip to do like this in Canterbury but its hard to see where bikes are/arent allowed

Any punctures? These small bikes look the go for real off road adventure.

We do get the odd puncture, but quite rare. Maybe one per year. We just fix on the spot...we've no other choice!

@@adventureridinginnewzealan2531 I was wondering about the use of light bikes. If it produces fewer punctures? Are you riding Husqvarna 701LR? Seem very reliable fleet on that trip.

It's a 501, not a 701. I used to ride a 701 but decided to go 501 in 2018. It's a much better-suited bike for a lot of the places I ride.
