I can totally relate, learning her music requires you to master lots of different techniques and change between them fluidly (bends, pull offs/hammerons, slides, tapping, and harmonics especially) that you can apply to other music. I find the tunings she uses and the general style of her riffs are incredibly inspiring for writing as well

@@derrick.s yeah I agree entirely. FACGCE is now my favourite tuning/the one I'm most comfortable in, just because most of the songs from her acoustics eps that I learned use that tuning :)

Gah dayum, you play so fluently. Majestic and beyond impressive. Just overall musicality seems underrated. Idk if you relate but I’ve been playing guitar on and off for a long time and my friends never seemed to care. It really demotivated me when I’d learn a song and practice for hours, imaging I’m playing for friends, and the moment I play infront of them they ask me to stop or something. I hope you are appreciated irl and have people who want to listen in ur life.

It sucks that your friends don't give you the support that you want - unfortunately, sometimes the interests of the people in your life don't align with your own. I think people who play or make music have a natural inclination to want to share what they play. It might not be as validating as your friends' support, but you could also post your stuff online :)
