An interesting trip and great production quality. It wouldn't be a Tennant adventure without a hardware fail at some point. And you delivered.

It's so beautiful there. Would love to camp out there but I think I'm to Canadian for that kind of heat.

That may of been the last cool-ish week before it gets out of hand here. Days are 93°F/33.889°C right now. This is 100% a Winter spot.

I haven't been to Curly's cabin since 1999. Way back when i spent weekends with the caretaker at Columbia.
@toddzuercher16158 ай бұрын
In 1999, that probably would've been George? Up until yesterday, the last time I had been at Curly's was March 2000 - I hiked in there on my birthday. It hasn't changed much in 24 years.

My late father spent much of his last years across the river from Parker, and he spoke of the donkeys and their Dung….

I never knew about curly's cabin that was pretty cool. Also I loved the PSA (Public service announcement) about packing your trash out unfortunately people still have to hear that 😢 you would think they'd Know Better by now.

This was definitely a great adventure. I’ll look up the info on curly. With a little turtle wax and some spray paint, I think you could get that car running……🥴🤪

I would download the content as well but as your channel starts to grow (I expect it to because people love this type of content, van life/downgrading your life while adding adventure) I would consider investing in Starlink.Not at all sure how heavy the satellite is but live streams from wild remote areas is the next frontier in the content game imo.

I've also dredged in the Humbug. Reclamation bulldozed what was left of Columbia. The Losee's out of Utah own Columbia...or did. Jewelers in Utah. It's patented land...2.5 acres i think.
@toddzuercher16158 ай бұрын
Losees sold it to another couple - I forget their name - think it begins with a "P". Used to love poking around the old buildings and vehicles down along the creekbed before they cleared it all out.

Traffic sucks. Big downer to road riding. But I never have the absolute abuse you put your shit through. Also a trailer hauler, so roads definitely win there. I am glad you do these off road trips because it makes great video. You are a walking test to every product you own 😂. Love your videos. Come ride up in Michigan sometime and I’ll show you magic in this state.

Do they make it difficult to buy the land now or is it just all far too expensive for what it's worth? Because I'm surprised more people aren't taking advantage of some of this land with the tools we have now like starlink, solar, as long as you're near a reliable water source probably would only have to go into town once every few weeks and right back out to your homestead. I wouldn't personally be able to pull it off, I'm too much of a city boy but I could see myself building up a very small dwelling for me to weekend warrior in with lol

Hey Eric maybe a fat tire bike would make that kind of journey effortless or better in many ways, right
@Eric_Tennant7 ай бұрын
With no trailer I think I could get all the way there. Fat tires are great for sand from what I hear. A fat tire would of been great on the skyline trip as the sand was bad getting up there.

True. Pulling a trailer might be trouble, as well as limiting your speed….
