The cost of that pizza is outrageous! Just 1 of those pizzas cost an entire days pay for someone making minimum wage in the Philippines. Thats equal to $30 for a pizza and they cost less than half that in America! I thought it was supposed to be cheaper in the Philippines?

Food isn’t the strongpoint of the Philippines. For those who haven’t been…It’s often served room temperature…All at once and not in courses…And food from other countries…The cooks really don’t know what it should taste like and try to copy it from recipes and pictures. The results can be odd. Give you an idea…they served me a still frozen steak. I have only sent food back twice in my. This was one of them…I have had to adjust to being served substandard options. Also expect food / produce to sit longer than we would allow at resorts. It’s not uncommon for lettuce to be served brown and wilted.

Why malapascua and not Bantayan island? For my family we didn’t like this island simply because it’s lucking on good accommodation and food is crap literally. Even this overpriced 670 pesos per pizza is crime to charge that much. Did I mention Bantayan has way better beaches like sugar beach, Kota beach, secret beach etc.
