As some keen eyes have pointed out. It’s not an eagle ray, it’s a mobula ray or a manta ray. I am no David Attenborough, 😅

Bye the way Serua is a very active vulcano only a few people are there so we give them food supplies fishing gear medicine ect in October we go back via Aru island to pick up the boat and sail agian the sea of my ancestors cheers and take care

I am personally amazed by this video. The quality is outstanding, and the cinematography is simply breathtaking. I can truly feel the essence of the place, even though I have never visited it myself. This video sets a high standard, and I hope it serves as inspiration for the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism to showcase Indonesia to the world in the same magnificent way. Once again, thank you Sam and your old friend Alex - Logan Wolverine

Wow, thank you! I’m glad that the video made you feel that way as I tried to capture the feelings that you get while visiting these remote islands. It’s like nothing else. Unfortunately your tourism department never has contacted me.
